  • It better be done by Christmas Lunar or I will not be a happy bunny. The worktops may not be done by then but the rest of it should be. We are all fine now it must have just been one of those really yucky bugs.

You wont be alone in having a poor January thats for sure. I will have 2 days off my pay due to strike, I have a bed to pay for to Argos before the interest goes on  . Will have to sell my body parts I think. Either that or eat the children :p .

  • I was going to get on with my kitchen today but have ended up doing stuff at DS's school all day. I dont mind really but I feel that every time I have a day off either my mother or the school grab the time from under my nose. B*gger.Bogies.Bums.

Will have to do some of it tonight as I cannot get moving in my house as the kitchen is all over the place. Got my lunch in the school dinner hall £1.74 !!! It was minging as well. They want to get themselves over to OS and they could have a feast for that per head. I think DD is returning to dancing tonight so no doubt will have loads of fees to pay for that. If I had managed to make packed lunches this week I would hae had loads of no spend days but :o I didnt make lunches. Right need to get on with the kitchen and see if I can get another wall papered tonight.
Kids have a party tomorrow but also taking my mum her Christmas grocery shopping( They might run out soon you see  ). Then on Sunday we are off to the science centre for DS's birthday treat. Will look later and see if any vouchers available for that.

  • Good evening. Been a bit of a spender for me today I'm afraid. Took kids to Morrisons and they like the cafe in there so that cost me £10, Treated the 2 kids to a magazine and got some birthday cards etc. Another £6. Then deviated from my shopping list which should have cost £15 max and was £43  . I had taken my mum for her Christmas grocery shopping and got kind of caught up in it and bought too much. Oh well I will be glad of it come January when I am broke lol.
Science centre tomorrow in Glasgow so that should be good fun. Had to laugh at my mum today buying all the bargains then spending £12 YES £12 on an air freshener:rotfl: . Then again pre LBM so would I have :o . I have actually managed so far not to use my CC this month. I hope I get right through the month as I need it cleared for a balance transfer end of January.
I won a tenner on the lottery tonight :j . Happy days
