OH is waiting for them to collect the bed and stuff. Mr T Cat apparently strolled in meeped, had lunch and is now having a good wash.

Waiting for phone consultation with doc. Throat is on fire, snot is yellow and blood streaked and bottom is not good.

Melly - I think your body is saying that you can't take anymore. I think you really need to tell the dr everything - and I mean everything - and it may be helpful to get a bullet pointed list.

I also suggest that you get that absolutely gorgeous cat back to you, do the minimum that your OH needs to make his peace and then gosh darn to heck with everything else. The foul hags that made MIL's passing so much harder took plenty of the goodies, they can do the work.

I couldn't get up till 9.30am so Mr Cat was on his own for 10 hours. Had a play. Big fuss, breakfast and he's gone out

My experience of cats - I had evil cat, psycho cat and malevolent cat - is that they don't get too stressed about ten hours. Your absolutely gorgeous gentleman probably likes a bit more company than my lot did, but it won't be a big deal. You reclaiming a marginally small amount of lost sleep and possibly being better able to open the tin of food for him, cuddle him and generally fuss is worth his wait.

You need, need, need to look after yourself. How is the throat?

What's made me laugh is part of the 'made me promise to make sure cat taken care of' was he won't eat pate or fish and loves beef.
No he won't eat beef goes nuts for trout and tuna.

I am back home. I should be sorting my planting out but I feel pooey so am gonna have a hot shower and lie down with my dogs.

Today OH put down part of a clock of his mum's it is shaped like rats and made of the rubbery plastic most toys are.
Mr male.dog thought this was ace and ripped.it up.
Guess who's fault it is.
