You need to rest Melly, you won't feel better till you do.
Look after yourself and Mr T Cat..he needs you, as does Mr Melly, but sometimes you need to start with taking care of yourself x

and get that cat home! high place for his 'hidey hole' and introduce him to his new doggy siblings in a relaxed way. and make sure they cant 'gang up on him'. He is a former 'street cat' - I am sure he can take care of himself with your help. and your dogs just need persuading he is now 'family'. oh and the fact your place is full of furniture - that's a bonus I think - gives the dogs less chance of catching the cat.

Your body is telling you that you are running out of resources. I suspect also that your body is telling you that it is getting safer to be at the end of those resources, because as you no longer have MIL depending on you then you can cut yourself a little slack and your body is now relaxing enough to feel poorly. Please, please keep looking after yourself and OH - and I suggest that you insist that he fusses you! That's healthy.

I think that there is light at the end of the tunnel, fingers crossed. Cat cuddles help.

    Take care.

Know what you mean but mum was hoarder; with her type of dementia the intention was there but the action never materialised.
