I did not mellymoo; well sort of on the outside but was all over the place for a long time.
Things like I could not cope with anything nice as I assumed "they" would find out how awful I was etc. For a long long time I took responsibility for things that others had done wrong; there are ways of making other parties "collude" in your misdemenours except some were more than that.
I recall someone being nice to me and just bursting into tears because it was so scary.
Difficult to describe on a public forum but I had to give evidence and I was convinced I would be shredded because of all the things other people had done wrong many years before that had nothing to do with the case. That was the breakthrough.
I had however several year's therapy behind me and had learned something called focusing by then. That enabled me to sit with the feelings and understand.
Thanks RAS.
We think she's in one of the hospices that wouldn't say. I think I am going to do the call and ask how her night went trick.0 -
Doubt I will get a response from nephew. Email is useful to prove all that can be done has though.

Once this is over that might be a very good idea. Moving does not make the problems go away but sometimes it allows enough space to work things through.
Make sure you can access good support though. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -

yes - getting away sometimes puts a fresh perspective on matters. and I do hope you have been passing along to OH that I and many other members are rooting for him as to me - he is the sort of man any woman would be proud to call her son!
yes, I would be phoning and asking staff to 'pass along a message' - then feigning surprise if they say she isn't there!
That Aunt is EVIL! she must be a very twisted disturbed individual who harbours hatred of her sister to do what she has done.0 -
I have Meri. He finds it upsetting that people on a message board are behaving more like family than his family.
He is a man too be proud of, especially when you take the family into consideration.
We are both drained now.0 -
tell him that WE haven't had his Aunt whispering her poison in our ears for years. WE can see it from a different viewpoint because WE are not in the middle of this and are not emotionally involved (although some of your posts have made my blood boil - and tbh I have seriously considered putting a 'Hex' on THAT woman).
It upsets me that he really hasn't known his mothers love since childhood. I think every child should be loved and cherished.
BUT! he has YOU! and melly, if your OH is someone I would be proud to call a son - I am sure I would love you as a DIL!0 -
Still no word from nephew.
Going to pop his royal Highness's back into place.
He's all excited at the opportunity, as he said the only way we could move there otherwise would be to win the lottery, and he's proud of me.
He also likes my sneaky hospice plan, they won't break his spirit any more than they have.
I have already hexed em Meri couldn't help it.
And thank you x0 -
melly - Found her yet? I have wondered if you are being misdirected though - have you checked she isn't still at home? because I wouldn't believe anything that woman says.0

I'm going to casually wander over there when I take the dogs our. That will tell me if she's at home.
Calling other hospices in the morning to see if she managed any breakfast :shhh:0
