I am feeling flat, why dunno just flat lol0 -
Was your husband physically in the room or not Melly . Sometimes a patient who wont or can't engage can actually highlight the complex nature of these situations . In the past I ended up talking to a consultant , doctor or other professionals minus dd as it was too scary for her to face . This led to different ways being used to facilitate treatment and other things .
Your husband has a very mixed experience of care and treatment so his trust has probably long gone and he can't see the point .
You say you have a good Dr so I would try to get them involved a bit like ours has acting as a hub and providing detailed information to any other professionals so they get a better picture of the patient and are often adaptable around MH problems .
I think it's a good idea to try for accommodation in the area you know . Apart from anything else I'm sure a lot of neighbours would miss the Melly walk .
