Apparently the housing aren't even going to raise it as a complaint as 'no service has been missed'
Hmm
Think I'm going to ask for a deadlock letter as I think it is a complaint then go to the housing ombudsman.
Waiting for the OT to call back to arrange for the assessment so on appropriate level for council.

I have spent the past year fighting for the correct treatment and support my dd should have received over the past 20 years while she suffered from the fallout of wrong treatment .
Thankfully she has had all the help now and is a different person . She had eds which ruled her life and wrecked her physical health among other mental and physical diagnoses . This year she finally got her diagnosis of Borderline PD 30 years after being wrongly diagnosed with Aspergers and thanks to our wonderful GP has both the treatment and validation lacking in the past .
I believe we all need to be mindful before replying to posts . A careless comment can cause a lot of damage . It isn't a case of only making "Nice " comments . It is awareness of someone's difficulties and supporting them through difficult times . Without the back story you can't even begin to imagine what it's like to walk in their shoes .
I have never reported a post and you haven't broken forum rules but I suggest pausing before making a comment when you don't know the full story .

I think it's wonderful that people are using the internet for support. This is, however a money saving website? And as you say I haven't written anything which breaks forum rules, yet my posts are disappearing (except for the last one which by some miracle seems to still be there.. for now?)
Not everyone has the time let alone the inclination to go back over pages and pages (years, in fact) worth of posts.0 -
Any advice on stopping idiot from barking?

Phryne, I am gently going to suggest that this is not the thread for you. The different areas of the board have different topics discussed on them - there's only a few purely dedicated to money
(You're also quite active on DT which rarely discusses moneysaving unless it's in a countrywide or global context, haha!)

I'm going to gently suggest an alternative:Best if those posts are left to stand with no comment - imho.
That poster - who I have no issue with (I agree with some things posted and have even 'thanked' some of her posts) - clearly feels that MSE rules allow her to post on any thread she wishes as long as she is not contravening MSE rules.
She is absolutely right.
From MSE rules:If you don’t like someone, their situation, their question or feel they’re intruding on ‘your board’ then please bite the bullet and think of the bigger issue.
I won't be reading them - not because she is on 'ignore' - because I'm not interested in what she has to say specifically on this thread.
Onwards and upwards, guys.
It's a lovely morning.0 -
It was freezing when I left the house but the sun's out now and I am wearing a cat ear headband to work for Halloween
