I've read the thread on DT.
I'm going to gently suggest an alternative:

That poster - who I have no issue with (I agree with some things posted and have even 'thanked' some of her posts) - clearly feels that MSE rules allow her to post on any thread she wishes as long as she is not contravening MSE rules.

    She is absolutely right.
    From MSE rules:

So, let the posts stand if they don't contravene MSE rules.
I won't be reading them - not because she is on 'ignore' - because I'm not interested in what she has to say specifically on this thread.

    Onwards and upwards, guys.
    It's a lovely morning. :)
It's good you can do that Pollycat, personally i have to use the ignore button because it really pushes my injustice button when people post in such a fashion. I really wish i didnt rise to it, so thats why i have to use it.:(

I appreciate that some people will feel like that.
So - can we all please have a pact not to quote any posts by the poster under discussion so that those posters who have said poster on 'ignore' don't see what she's posted.
We can't stop her posting so let's limit the impact of her opinions on the thread.

Anyone want to see a pic of the poor dog that's in season and in love with Laurs?
It explains why the sod is barking so much.
She's also lonely and comes out to see me anyway

Yes the various pet charities don't give a toss and her owner is an addict who boots her out all the time

Melly, you have enough on your plate with OH, your own occasional health problems - which would be exacerbated by working for a company that messes you around all the time!

That one most certainly was not for you - but the right one is out there, and you will get it .....just not today :-( So, in the meantime, indulge in some canine and feline cuddles - you will soon get your mojo back with them to help. x

Weight/size wise I'm not the best at the moment.
Its less about money and more about getting me back.

I do think I'm sabotaging as well though because I am scared, this is daft and new (really not enjoying it much)

Usually known as Pollyanna as I'm frighteningly optimistic just get my optimism back and we are away.

Example of usual me, OH died lots last year, what happened kills you, I knew he wouldn't die saying things like 'well your mum/nan and my dad will be sick of him soon and he will be back'

Melly love I know I've been off the radar for quite some time but as one Pollyanna to another can I ask you to cut yourself a bit of slack?
You've been running on empty for too many years trying to do your best for everyone . I know how that feels myself . Sometimes playing the glad game just isn't enough . Make a list of priorities . Your health and wellbeing matters too . Honestly I would forget getting back into work for a while . Concentrate on trying to get some support for rehousing and for your husband . I know it isn't easy with the cuts but hopefully you will find a way Remember the squeaky wheel is the one that gets the oil and never give up .
Take care of yourself because you're the one who's trying to keep all the balls in the air against the odds .

I'm more of a cat lady but have to say the face of that puppy was lovely to see .
