Stripeytiger is in the bed with his dad lol
I got a blinkey kiss but he's not moving lol (he snook in at some point)

Tom is moody like his owner
Pickle is a little love I have had a cuddle, dogs have had a cuddle, tomcat has had a cuddle, ty has had a hiss.
  • Is there any way to get through to him that he can break the self fulfilling prophecy? But only if he makes a conscious choice.

    Sending hugs.

May I tentatively suggest that you are careful with that codeine. Also, it's hard to make good decisions and hard arguments when you run low on fuel.

Keep going with the furry cuddles. hugs x

Sometimes he realises not when he's this bad though.

    He's panicking about Tuesday
    Scared of leaving the house
Worried about new people and feeling stupid

Leads to him being an idiot.

I know, codeine is adictive seems to be the best way of getting me to relax at the moment and I need to get and stay calm

Mellymoo, codeine is great short term but should really not be used to calm you down, especially not on an empty stomach. I am sorry, I had no idea things were so bad for you.

If I were anywhere close I would be round with a plate of shepherd's pie! You need to eat real food, Miss Mellymoo.

I read those links sybil posted about sick systems; they sound like most of the jobs I have had, especially two, both of which made me ill so I left them... I so hope things improve for you soon, I really do.
  • Passing through with a worry and a hug.

I don't want to prod too much, you are not in a good place. However, you need fuel.

What can you eat? I know so little about anorexia except an idea about the control part of it, so don't want to send the wrong vibes.

Can you kick up an almight screaming fit until your OH makes something that you like and can eat, in small portions that you can keep going back to? I suspect that it would help both of you a great deal if he had to look after you.

    Sending more hugs.

  • Hi all .
Melly I hope you are sleeping for a while now and your mind is getting a little respite x
Sybil EDs are a very complex form of mental illness , difficult to treat and require trained professional help over a long time . A lot of the time they become a form of coping when life is rough and can then become the norm . I know I suggested Melly try a little soup if she could face it but the time is not right judging by her posts . I will not mention the subject to her again . I know your concern is kindly meant but wanted to let you know how difficult it is and how even the experts tread carefully . x
Melly I will post later . Am sorting stuff at the moment whilst counting down the minutes to Poldark !
    Back later

It's not to bad at the min Pol
I hide it when it is
So despite the silly weight loss and famine victim look it's been worse.

Upstairs are back so my walls are shaking OH has the radio on ridiculously loudly so I can't hear the TV.

This has put the kybosh on sleeping

Usually I would have attempted to hug OH so we can stop not talking I haven't this time. I am running out of the ability to carry him, he needs to understand that, he also needs to realise when he does this I love him less and I am not going to apologise for telling him the truth that this situation including his care and moods has made me ill.

My dogs are still angels (farty pants currently) I would like to see more of the kitts but until he stops with the stupidity I am not going to get the chance (staying out of his way that way I can't be tempted to fix it, he needs to understand the consequences of his actions)
