well that is truly the last time I visit Shell

had to refuel and pick up some essentials this evening and discovered a stray dog on the forecourt. i went to the shop to report the dog as clearly this was not the norm and there was every chance the animal could have rabies which would be dangerous whilst dispensing petrol. the youth working in the shop informed me that it was not his problem. i replied that if that was his attitude i would not be purchasing fuel. he informed me that i had already pumped £1.84 worth of unleaded and would be required to pay. i refused. he said he would call the police if i did not pay so i said i would call the police if he did not deal with the dangerous dog.

i have a friend in the police so would be looked after anyway but this was a clear threat of intimidation by shell staff not to mention putting customers at risk of serious disease.

I think you should have mentioned in the very beginning that you are not in the UK (you do know we don't have rabies here, right?)

We have a far better class of Shell garage over here in Blighty than you obviously have in your land.

I think the dog would be more worried about you giving it rabies

Please be aware if you visit a Shell station of a foaming at the mouth rabid moron boycotting the place. Do not feed said moron.

I wish my local Shell would get pay@pump fitted. Always prefer it than going into shop to pay. At any petrol station not just Shell.
