Is it you don't like people, or are you afraid of the Halal Sandwiches?0 -

that is the final time i ever visit a shell petrol station
visited this evening with a friend only to find a significant police presence around the area. upon entering the forecourt we were given a dirty look by a police officer and then followed to our petrol pump. we were not asked any questions. i approached a police officer and he informed me there was a heavy presence due to a recent offence.
we decided we did not feel safe remaining in the area and so opted to leave without making a purchase. i will not be returning. :mad:0 -
But I thought you had a friend who was a police officer. Surly that should have seen you all right?0

1) Saves time waiting for a vacant pump as queue moves quicker
2) Saves time not having to go into shop and queue
3) I hate people in busy places - probably from the years of working in retail
4) ????
5) Profit0 -

that person works for a different constabulary so is unable to help in this scenario.0 -
Emz is right, the police officer could have mugged her. I get chills down my spine when I see them, they seem to move in gangs these police officers.
What were you off to buy there Emz, those yummy halal sandwiches? Sorry you missed out.0 -

Don't get what you mean about profit though. Is it that you don't have the chance of picking up a halal sandwich as an additional impulse buy, or you don't want to pay for the attendants wages? If the latter, you know you are still doing that don't you?0
