Another one!
Hmm......Thoughts?0 -
Just a predictable step along a well trodden path. We've seen plenty before. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

If I remember correctly, from personal experience, that one is the last one in the chain from DR+.
I think you will now get a couple more letters from a company called 'Zenith'. Checking the small print at the bottom of those will reveal that 'Zenith' are actually DR+ using a different letterhead.
Someone less charitable than me might suspect DR+ are trying it on in a last pathetic attempt to get their hands on your money. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::j0 -

Don't they ever give up?0

Can you make a complaint to the SRA with this letter as it is a criminal offence to act as a solicitor or to give the impression you are solicitors under the legal services act.
They claim to uphold the SRA rules of conduct but this letter clearly breaches it.
They have not made it clear they are actually acting as a collection agency instead throwing a deception they are acting in a legal capacity.I do Contracts, all day every day.0 -

Criminal offence? Wow! :-)
Can you list maybe in bullet points what my complaint should contain? How are they breaching it?
I checked their website....aren't they a legal company?0 -
Yes they are, but they are NOT working as a solicitor in this case - they are working as a debt collector, but misleading people into thinking they are acting as a solicitor.
That action breaches SRA rules and, I think, is a breach of the Legal Services Act.0 -
Thanks :-) I'll get right on it!0
