Parking fine - no response to appeal yet..

In response to this - why hasn't the govt done anything to stop this then? Just curious....
Because they through the dvla get about £6m a year out of this by selling our personal information to this scum industry, also they get millions in tax payments , and they can't be bothered to fix this problem. They've tried already with pofa 2012, these companies try to circumvent that ! The only solution is to drive the whole industry out of business !When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

That and their buddies at capita are now in on the money fountain that is the fake parking ticket industry.
Money talks and opens doors in this corrupt bent little country.Be happy...;)0 -
Wow 3 posts all saying the same thing! Didn't realise it was that obvious!!!!
Such a complete joke all of this!!0 -

Of course I have, following instructions of posts 7, 11 and 14.....
They've actually not texted me for a few weeks now, probably because they've realised I'm ignoring them - maybe that's why letters are coming now....
Also increasing the fine during an appeal? Something else they did wrong...
Should be getting a response to BPA's investigations soon....but the first point still stands they didn't respond to my appeal with the time they are suppose to...if they didn't respond how can I get a POPLA?0 -

The BPA have been known to intervene and instruct the PPC to issue a POPLA code when they have received complaints of a similar kind to yours.0 -

as mentioned in post #16 , this is not a fine , its a charge , for an invoice , so yes they may decide to increase their charges and it would still not be enforcible if it went to a court of law , I could send you a charge for £100 and then say it doubles every month you dont pay it, doesnt mean I am entitled to it or would ever get a penny of the alleged "charge" on the letter or invpoice I have sent to you
I could put the words in RED WRITING and it still would not increase the likelihood of a payout from you to me
a fine is a punishment meted out by a court or a judge, these letters have never seen the inside of a court room and it will never , even become a fine , so the word "fine" is deemed misleading and is actually not true or even a legal term in this case, which is why you wont find this word on any of your paperwork
if I wanted to make you pay a speculative invoice , I would put in misleading words, bend the truth and invoke all kinds of curses and bad omens and voodoo upon you if you do not pay me what I say you owe me , these are the words you are reading, they hope your lack of clarity and knowledge will lead to you paying them a silly amount of money
as fr popla, only the PPC can issue the code , so you wont get one until they issue one , if ever they issue one
what you are doing now is being seen to try to settle this before it goes to court, which it may never do anyway, but you need to be able to convince a court that you tried to deal with this should it ever go there , they have 6 years to decide under the small claims procedures , after that its dead and buried0 -

The government were completely hoodwinked and because, as with many other issues, they are entirely reliant on those closer to coalface to brief them. The BPA Ltd have invested a vast amount of time and effort lobbying successive governments to secure this money-making scheme and have reaped their rewards. As far as the government are concerned this is now in the "Out" basket.
The truth that was never conveyed to Parliament nor anyone else inside government is that PPC's operate an entirely unique business model. When I say unique I mean unique - there are no other companies that operate in this way. Its very simple but seemingly beyond the wits of the great and the good probably because they just couldn't believe their eyes.
These companies exist solely to deliberately incur losses that they can then pursue and that is the only interpretation that can be put on what they say they do. The scales fell from the eyes of a learned judge when he came to that realisation just a few days ago at which point he expressed considerable dismay that companies would do such a thing.
The truth is of course that no one in their right mind would ever do such a thing and when those losses are examined they disappear like so much smoke on the wind.
These companies own very little - certainly not a car park (well the vast majority of them) - lose nothing and save the profit they make for themselves they produce nothing and yet they dare to call what they do an "industry"? They are simply predators but like those weird fish from the abyssal depths with luminescent baits they lure their prey into other people's car parks where they are put to the corporate sword leaving the car park owners to pick up the pieces except those that are paid off for their connivance.
And our government thinks this is a legitimate business?
(Having said that they allow hedge funds to continue to exist - and one former hedge fund manager is also a Minister - so maybe they do understand. Its just that they couldn't give a sh*t).My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -

Ooohhhhhh red captial writing! Scary! I best pay up!! :-p
Honestly this must be the biggest scam going....
It made me think last night, if I had a pile of tickets and started sticking them randomly on cars in town I bet some people would panic and just pay out....
They spamming me with more texts last night. First time in a while!0 -

That's why us regulars are here. Apparently we are 'zealots' and 'forum guru's' who are intent on scuppering PPC World's so called 'industry'!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
