Yes but if you think about it you have to give your income on every renewal. It is the other things which affect the claim which cannot be declared online. So you can't renew online AND tell them you have a child or change your address or change your bank details or tell them you've got married.0 -
So I wont be able to renew online then.
Im confused.
Because this next year I will earn 700 less than what I actually earnt this year.
I don't want to start renewing online then realise I cant.
It might not be a very good idea to renew online as its the first year of trialling this way0 -

You can renew online, you just can't update your current year income. But you can't do that if you renew by post either, only by renewing over the phone.
But that doesn't affect your renewal, and earning £700 less next year will make no difference to your claim for 14/15 so you can just renew online if the option is offered and then at some point in 14/15 just update your estimate for current year.

I know. And I have never been asked that when I have renewed on the phone in the past. When the award letter comes out for 2014/15 it gives an assumed income for this year. If it is different to what you expect to earn then call to tell them. I did that a few weeks ago and I have yet to receive my renewal pack just to keep my payments on track.0 -
Last year when I renewed I was asked lots of questions.
Are there any changes
2 why do I pay childcare when my kids are over 5
What is my salary for the year
what is my salary for the next year0 -
Need a bit of reassurance really.
On the WTC renewal that my partner has received in Part 1 :certain benefits it asks about which benefits you are receiving i, Esa etc e Income support
The wording of the question is :"If you receiving any of the following for the whole of the award period shown on page one put an "X" in the appropriate box".
The date that I started receiving this benefit was a bout a week or so after this start date so its not the Whole of the period so do I not put an "X" in the box as it is nearly the whole of the period?
Sorry if it sounds a bit pathetic but I don't want to fall foul of the WTC people.
I have only just (last week) received a letter from the ESA saying that my ESA contributions has been changed from the WRAG to ESA Support Group Contributions & that it has also been back dated to last year .0 -
Yes its ESA support group contributions.
The 1st question asks if I receive ESA etc (the whole of the period which I have not)
The 2nd question is taxable social security benefits (which is ESA) asks the amount.
So I have I got this right I do not put an "X" in the box saying I receive ESA Contribution SG as I was not receiving it the whole of the time but I have to put the actual amount I receive of the ESA SG over the same period ??
I am confused as I thought the 1st part of the question wanted to know if I actually received this benefit over the tax award period & the 2nd part if I did how much, which is correct please?0 -
