You should still get a p60 as normal from your employer, the details on that should then match the details in the renewal should then match what they have told HMRC for your PAYE.
What about people who make private pension contributions or gift aid, or people who have work expenses deductible (eg mileage), are they excluded from this?

Sorry if I sound silly but how will we know if we have an automatic renewal. What point do the automatic ones get done?

    Thanks in advance

nothing yet for us either. Last few years I have received the package by now and also rang through the figures.

    Hopefully some time this week

First renewal this year and heard nothing yet? Should I be worried?

hi hope i am posting in the right sections. My partner has received her p60 but we are unsure what figure to give. is it the gross or the lower figure?
Also she was on maternity leave this year. She had 20 weeks full pay from her employer, but up until the tax year was 18 weeks then has dropped to stat maternity pay for a following 5 weeks(which takes her to the end of may this year)
    How would we calculate this?

    Thanks in advance

I've logged into our bank account , we are payed weekly , child tax credits , ours is down by a lot , we have not had a renewal pack , I think ours has been updated using that RTI system , I'm scared . My eldest son is due to go into hospital today for a big operation and we are down with money , I'm in a mess . We are not sure what figure his work has given to child tax credits . My husband pays into a private pension as well . I don't understand this RTI system at all .

hi , no changes , all children still in education , my eldest is 19 but we stop receiving child benefit and tax credits , when he reaches 20 on the 28th of feb next year . i have four children . my husband pays into a pension which is deducted from his net wage ( after tax & NI ) . but his wages inc my carers allowance is less than £5000.00 over last years figure ( with gross pension payments deducted inc 20% tax relief ) .

The only way your going to find out why your payments have gone down is to call them.
  • Hi. I had an extra payment in my account today. I normally get my payments Thursdays. I have not had a renewal pack yet or made any changed recently. Has anyone else had this?

I haven't had my pack yet, but received my NHS exemption certificate.

I work and have childcare so don't think I would fit with the auto renewal.
