  • Very little to report financially at the moment, which is quite dull really :(

New carpets took a big dent out of my monthly spends, so I'm trying to be extra frugal till the end of month to compensate. Got a weekend away this weekend, so need to make sure I have some beer money for that. Get paid just in time for the bank holiday weekend so that will be most welcome.

  • Evening folks,

The last few days have been very un-MFW. Firstly I had my weekend away, which was fun but a little spendy.

Then I get back to see my shares "lose" about £1000 of value in just one day

  • Its not ideal, but no major issue as I am in no urgent hurry to sell.

Not got any plans for the bank holiday weekend, so will probably spend it pottering and catching up on random jobs around the house.

I might have a big and exciting announcement to make next week...................??????

Sounds like you may have been caught up in the H$BC glitch.

Luckily wages went through without a problem, which was a relief as it had been an expensive month, so there was not much left.

It is amusing to keep you in suspense but I wouldn't be so mean as to make you wait a full week. Will hold the press conference on Tuesday.

Hint: The significance of this particular date might give a clue as to what the announcement could be...............:question::question:

Now, I'm no 'Miss Marble' but I think I've worked it out

I reckon it's something to do with arriving in style........in a van, wearing leg-warmers and listening to Simon Le Bon

Will wait until Tuesday for the official announcement ;)
