its really interesting since we have someone come in for an hour at lunch for puppylove and that was not good enough for labrador rescue.

Puppylove adores her and starts watching out for her from about 11.30.

They certainly all have different rules. One I read about said no if you work at all!

This is where our little lurcher came from :)

Aargh! Must not look at rescue dogs! Two dogs is enough for us, but the fluffy lurchers melt my heart every time :o

I'm having a quiet day at home today. The dogs need walking and I've got some wedding stuff to sort out, I might even have a nap :D

£19.10 transferred to honeymoon fund bringing it to 63%

I would like to get that total up to the next multiple of 100 by the end of the month so £90.59 to find from interest, cashback and (hopefully) left over cash :)

Good luck with your savings for this month :)

Glad to hear that all is going well on the personal front, but work sounds as if it's been stressful

    Mornin' :)

Thanks for popping in SF and Goldie

This is the fourth day of my holiday Goldie, but I still can't shake the feeling of over-tiredness. It sort of feels like a work stress hangover, if that makes any sense at all? I'm not too bad at home, but when I go out I feel a bit spaced out and fuzzy :(

I had a fairly lazy day yesterday with a nice dog walk when OH got home. Poor pup (yes I can still call him that ) was going a bit crazy when we got home, leaping around and rubbing his feel on the carpet and furniture frantically. A bit of googling suggested that he had been stung by the young nettles! Poor chap.

I've got another quiet morning today and plan to finish a library book :)

    In money news:

Many years ago (9 to be precise) when I was a student, I stupidly got distracted at a cash machine and forgot to take the money. When I went back it had gone so I assumed someone else had picked it up. You can imagine how upset I was as I've always been a bit of a control freak when it comes to money and I felt like such an idiot.

Anyway, last week I got a letter saying that the transaction had been picked up in an audit as the money was never collected but my account was still debited. The cash, plus interest has now been paid back into my account :j:j:j

So I have just added £48.64 to our honeymoon column :T:D:T:D

Feel very happy about that, but still cringe when I remember my carelessness :o

Had an e-mail from the legal side of our (hopefully) new mortgage company with a redemption date of next Wednesday, but it still has to go past another set of senior underwriters

Our mortgage advisor has never known an application be so carefully scrutinised and it's very frustrating.

    Morning

I didn't realise it was so long since I last posted :o

I moved a rather large Tilly tidy of £5.76 to the honeymoon fund this morning. Had to resist moving more as I really want to fill it up!

Our remortgage is due to complete today so I may be obsessively checking our internet banking! What I don't understand is that the amount shown as owing on our internet banking is quite a bit less than the redemption amount from halifax. I can't even make the amount by adding a whole month of interest so I'm worried we'll be paying too much. Also it says that the new company will take a payment in 14 days which will mean 2 payments this month which I certainly haven't budgeted for :(

Anyway, it's another gorgeous sunny day here and I plan on sitting in my tip of a back garden for a bit at lunch time :)

I'm not planning on looking at any school work until Friday so today is officially a lazy day :T
