We don't use hot water (showers for us)
Not into girly pampering either0 -
I think even a hour would be too much, too much walking and no where to sit
Are you able to hire a wheelchair from the Red Cross for the day, Tink2?Dear Lord, I am calling upon you today for your divine guidance and help. I am in crisis and need a supporting hand to keep me on the right and just path. My mind is troubled but I will strive to keep it set on you, as your infinite wisdom will show me the way to a just and right resolution. Amen.0 -
It's nota wheelchair suitable place
That is a real shame as it would probably do you real good to meet up with some friends; to chatter and laugh and joke and generally have some fun.Dear Lord, I am calling upon you today for your divine guidance and help. The weight loss game is a huge minefield out there with so much information that's its hard to know what to believe and what not, then we see our friends try something, succeed, we try full of enthusiasm and then get disappointed and lose motivation and turn to food again, the reality is that what works for one doesn't always work for another, faddy diets I am totally against for lots of reasons, I lost 4stone so I feel like I have some knowledge on this and I've basically done it through eating more real foods and less processed and never let myself get hungry, the sugar cravings will go and if you eat more protein than carbs, the sugar spikes will stop and you'll stay fuller for longer, think of it as a drug and you need to detox as that's all that's happened is that your body has got too used to too much sugar....I also have a power hour once a week where I can eat any of the foods I've been wanting or craving but it's only for an hour not the day, it keeps you focused knowing there's a treat in sight.....most importantly don't beat yourself up when you get it wrong, just pick yourself up and start again and good luck0

Well done on your loss :T0 -
I prefer my carbs/protein to be roughly the same
Well done on your loss :T
Thanks, keeping about the same works really well for maintaining just as some people can take on more carbs and lose weight, I think initially if you can't control the sugar cravings, upping the protein definitely helps, I think like yourself just being aware of what works is a really useful tool , can be tough going sometimes though eh?

Above your protein and carbs being roughly the same, would you not prefer to lose weight?
Do you not get it? You can't have it all. You can't have what you prefer, be it pizza, crisps, greggs, subway, blah blah blah AND lose weight. You have to make a choice. I think you already have.******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0
