Just think what you could have lost if you really tried.
Doesn't matter, fact is I have lost and I'm happy with what I've lostWantToBeSE wrote: »Tink, I am sure that you could probably do some sort of exercise. At my gym we have morbidly obese people who go, people in wheelchairs, older people, small men who want to bulk up etc.
Honestly, when I see them I am full of admiration for them.
They COULD just sit there and moan that they cant do it, but they don't. They sweat and huff and puff, but they damn well do it to the best of their ability.
I do, I do my physio which is all my body can handle atm0 -

They are just not sustainable long term plus they promote a really unhealthy attitude to food in my opinion.
That aside ....
Tink: You had lost 15lb in the first 8 weeks. In the 12 weeks since, you've lost 4lb. While any loss is good, your progress has almost halted - and this defintiely ties in with you describing cheat days and days off the wagon.
I'm trying to think of a gentle way to tell you that you seem to have lost your motivation. Maybe you need the kick-up-the-bums that people are giving.
I believe that everyone here would like to see you succeed, so please listen to what people are saying rather than being defensive, even if it's hard to take.
Good luck.Do you not know that a man is not dead while his name is still spoken?

I am in agreement with you with regards fad diets, First_Trouble, although we may be in disagreement on the types of diet that this would cover. However, fundamentally, yes, fad diets are not sustainable long term and can do far more harm than they can do good, long term.Dear Lord, I am calling upon you today for your divine guidance and help. I am in crisis and need a supporting hand to keep me on the right and just path. My mind is troubled but I will strive to keep it set on you, as your infinite wisdom will show me the way to a just and right resolution. Amen.0 -

I think even a hour would be too much, too much walking and no where to sit0 -
