I agree with you nearly rich and its a shame that others are more concerned with entertainment. As for being "sick" of seeing Maddie everywhere......well I'm speechless Not looking at this thread anymore, cant believe people can be so narrow minded, unfeeling and actually rather selfish.

All the threads about Madeliene turn into that.

I cant believe that someone would 'get sick of seeing' news about a missing child. Turn it off if you dont want to watch it

And as for the thousands of other children missing, how can you compare? Its all relative. If my child was missing, believe me everyone would know about it and I would NEVER stop until I found out what had happened to her. How can you condemn someone who wants to do that?
  • Hows about they follow it up with a new public information film for parents, stating that if you leave stuff unattended, someone will nick it, cars, keys, money, mp3 players, bikes and CHILDREN.

No parent deserves what happened to the Mccanns but they shouldnt have been so blase' about their child's safety and their social life.

    I meant in general.

But even in the cinema, for goodness sake, this is a 4 year old, not nice to watch no, but why not just think yourself lucky that it is not you.

Children see things that we dont want them to see all the time, but that is just life unfortunately.

I have told my 4 year old all about it and she was very sad initianlly but I think it actually makes them very aware as to what is going on out there and definatly confirms that she should not to go to any strangers.
    Nice to save.

I don't know about anyone else, but I go to the cinema for fun and enjoyment. If I saw this advert before a film, it would take the shine off the cinema visit as it's not a fun or enjoyable thing to see. Yes it is a sad story, but I don't want to think about it 24/7.

Someone else pointed out previously in the thread, if you don't like the ad, don't go to the cinema. Does that mean people can't enjoy themselves anymore until the girl is found?

There is a time and place for such promotional material, but I agree with the OP that the cinema isn't the place for it to be shown.

Well, I'm sure Madelaine's parents are sorry that your "fun and enjoyment" was spoilt for a few minutes, because they are trying to find their daughter.

    Jeez.

    Lin :(
You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)

Well perhaps if the parents didn't actually enjoy their "fun and enjoyment" they wouldn't be looking for their daughter now.

its terrible that she is still missing. I dont if i could cope if someone snatched my children. I think whatever the circumstances of her disappearance we should all agree that there is a little girl out there, being held against her will and she should be home with her family. Same goes for all the missing children out there.

When exactly have they been trying to find their daughter? Or did they honestly think she was in Vatican City etc?
