I live a few miles away from the village where the family live...I drove past the centre with my two year old and was reduced to tears by the amount of ribbons etc....I think that publicity is needed but should be done in a way that people can watch if they choose.
To say that people are sick of it and that the parents shouls F off beggers belief, you obviously dont have kids yourself and if you do well, god help them....WIN £2008 in 2008 £1836.31 2009 wins - £91!!! 2010 wins in Oz $ 6170.... wins 2011 aprox $2000
MFIT - number 37. Reduce my mortgage from £63,500 to £48,000. now at 54,000...0 -

i do have a child but i am honestly fed up of seeing them and hearing about their campaign, maybe you dont agree but that doesnt mean that i am A) a bad parent or
that i cant have an opinion, and I think you'll find that I am not the only one who feels like this.
Like alot of people I am no fan of the McCanns, quite frankly they make me sickI understand ALOT more than I care to let on

Nice. I can imagine telling distraught parents that no photos of their missing children aren't going to be shown as they are simply not photogenic enough.
It's just how the press works.
Pretty little white girl goes walkabout and it's all over the papers.
Plain little girl or immigrant girl goes missing and it's not nearly such a good story for the tabloids...
The sad fact is that loads of kids and people for that matter go missing every year, but few get much column space in the papers. The money, Dave...0 -
How many people know that a 3 year old british girl was kidnapped in Nigeria today? How many inches of paper columns will be dedicated to this poor little girl? Of course I hope Madelaine McCann is found safe and well, but one can't but wonder if it's the parents guilt for leaving her and her brother & sister alone whilst out enjoying dinner is driving their campaign? Personally I think the McCann parents should be prosecuted for child negligence, however that's not going to happen to a white, middle class family is it?0

To be perfectly honest I'm getting totally fed up of all this find Maddie nonsense - people go missing all the time and if the Mccans actually looked after her daughter properly she wouldnt have gone missing.
It's all a bit strange how they're managing to get so much publicity too - I bet if someone who was an unemployed single mum had her daughter snatached whilst she was out buting cheap vodka, nobody would give a toss.0 -

Good looking people lose pretty daughter in sunny Algarve resort.

If you were a journalist which would you rather cover? The money, Dave...0 -

Neither to be honest - all i'd be interested in is when the parents were up for trial for child neglect.
They should have their other kids taken off them too.0 -

That's a bit harsh, I know they didn't bother with a babysitter, but apparantly they were only yards from their apartment. The money, Dave...0 -
