    Well I got a reply that was just a load of old tosh

    "Thank you for your email. We are sorry for the problems you had with the recent survey you attempted. Your feedback will be passed on the correct person so it can be investigated. If there is a general error with the survey it may be resent to you at a later date.

    Please note that if you cannot see a "next" button or an image, or if you cannot enter text or make a selection, this may be due to your web browser. Please try another browser.

    If you got to the last page of the survey you will be rewarded with everyone else when the credits go through within around six weeks even if there was a problem at the end and it didn’t link back to our site and show as pending. It may just say “invite sent” or "survey started" if you look in the participation history "

    I'm never going to see those points or get the time back that I wasted on that survey - the reply does not even properly address what I said in my e-mail to them. I'm currently on £11.25 and I shall see if I get the points added and if not I'm going to cut my losses and get £10.50 out and bin them .

    Not getting many VO surveys at the moment but made £30 Amazon Gift Cards in two weeks. Decent.

    Btw... just an extra point. Do NOT install their crappy app. It doesn't uninstall properly and runs a ton of a background processes. I uninstalled it and it still kept a hidden process running, which was draining battery and using data. Fortunately the handy tools i've installed picked it up and trashed it. Just a friendly warning... and was starting to wondering why a new S5 was all of a sudden running a bit slower, but that was post-installation.

    Too late! I've installed and uninstalled their VO and VO+ app a number of times. Now, if I get A VO+ survey invite I install it, do the survey (if it doesn't crash and die), and uninstall it afterwards. Huge battery killer, stopping it doesn't help at all.

    SBOSlayer, what did you use to uninstall? Is AVG Cleaner enough? What background process remain? I've checked my background processes but I can't see anything obvious.

    Sorry for the questions!

    Try Clean Master :beer: It's worked for me with this, but I haven't had time to fully investigate it. Just noticed it the other night, but not had any notifications telling me it's there since. When I get this crappy dissertation in, i'll focus on clearing it completely. Might be a good idea to do a quick back up and clean wipe of your phone if it really won't leave :) Good luck and i'll get back to you when I find a good way to make sure it's eradicated :D
  • Just a quick update as I said I would - got paid for this survey in the end despite the error message!
  • I still do VO from time to time. But finding that recent surveys which I completed are shown as Survey Started in the Participation History but not paid nor shown in the Reward
    Statement. This started to happen a few months ago as well. Though on that occasion they did eventually get paid. This time no sign of payment and one of them listed- disappeared after I refreshed the page!! GRRR.. And VO are one of survey companies that never admitts its at fault and credits any outstanding payments.

    Anyone else had this survey started annoyance?
  • Yes - they seem to pay more and more of their surveys on a delay now. Very annoying when you know you have reached payout and then it takes weeks.

  • I have been using Valued Opinions surveys for quite some time and I know last time I checked that my balance was significant (in the region of £50) and I have been saving it to get some Amazon vouchers. However, when I went to log on to the site to check my balance last night it said my email was not recognised. After emailing back and forth today my account has been reactivated and I can now login. But I was devastated to see my account balance is now only 50p. I have followed up with another email but have not heard back yet. Anyone know what the chances are of me getting my balance restored? (and yes I now realise it was foolish not to cash in each voucher as soon as I could) :(
