I was caught out by that this morning, as I logged in and had a balance of £9.50, and I had the alert to say I could now claim a voucher. When I looked at the list of rewards, though, the only one for £8 is the Gourmet Club membership - everything else starts at £10.50.0

We guarantee that we won’t apply further increases to your redemption levels in 2014.
but 2015?
Just cashed in my last ever VO points - like others I could very slightly understand the 50p charge for paper vouchers, but NOT e-codes.
If McDonalds put the price of a burger up because they sold too many they would be about 50 quid a pop by now.0 -
Hi all. Bet most of you think this title is a mistake. I did until I clicked on it and discovered it really was worth 20 quid.
However, there is a chance I may not get paid as I discovered that by not playing 100% by the rules I left myself tangled up. So I want to make sure that anybody else who gets this invite doesn't do the same thing.
Let me explain before everybody tells me I'm a naughty boy lol.
The survey, although long winded is pretty straightforward. They ask you some information about your car and then ask you to do some price comparisons for motor insurance from the leading 4 sites.
After each quote you have to copy and paste the link to the quotes page into the survey and then answer a few questions about the price and the cost of any add-ons.
Now as somebody who doesn't want to be pestered I entered a false e.mail address and telephone number into the info I was supplying to get the quotes but everything else was factually correct.
Once I'd done all four the survey site listed them all on one page and asked me to confirm they were correct which I assume they were as they were copies of the info I had just supplied them with.
I clicked next and I got the question, "which provider gave the cheapest quote?" Erm! Next question, "what was the cheapest quote?" Erm!
I didn't know the answers and as I'd used a fake e.mail address I couldn't check the quotes to find out and I couldn't log back into the sites as an existing user as I couldn't remember the e.mail addresses I'd used for the quote.
So I put in what I thought but can't imagine it will be right so I'll probably get booted when they scrutinise my survey.
So the warning is either use your proper e.mail address and risk getting pestered forever and a day or better still either save the pages or write down the info. Hope this has helped somebody to avoid potentially losing the highest paying survey I have ever seen. Still showing as pending on my account but I'm not hopeful.0 -
I am also thinking of leaving Valued Opinions once I receive my final voucher from them.
I think they should factor the cost of admin and postage into what they charge the client and what they pay the survey-takers for each survey (as they have done in the past). 5% of our earnings is now going on postage. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. This one is still being offered. I spent well in excess of an hour completing it tonight because as well as registering for and using four comparison sites, it then asks you to scan in some of your own documents. When it showed as 100% completed, I was taken to a page saying, 'We're sorry! This survey is no longer available'. Honestly. I have complained and will post an update when I get a reply, but in the meantime, if anyone else gets offered this £20 survey though VO, be aware that it might cut you off at the very last page.0

Got paid for this survey a few weeks ago and i didnt scan any documents.0

Same here, got credited 2 weeks after survey, did not scan renewal docs.0

Did you say 'no' at the stage where it wanted you to scan the documents then? I was too scared to, because the wording was something like, 'Do you want to participate in this survey?' and I thought it might just ditch everything I'd done if I answered 'no'. The scanning part was a nightmare, because I had to try a couple of browsers before finding out that their uploader only works with Google Chrome. It took forever, and then it worked and then came the dreaded 'Sorry......' page!0

I did this one, and got paid Monday
