Let me you you something here. I am in no way at all connected to Patient Mummy. Whether you believe me or not I don't care, but I am offended at the suggestion that I am a liar. She has said on here I am being bullied..... well used that word anyway..... and I have stated clear enough that I don't believe I am. Bully is a very strong word and I don't like that word at all. I have seen first hand how bullying affects people, to the extent of someone committing suicide because of it.
I've also said that I posted on Facebook regarding the confusion over Adam and Atom, and replies have been in the majority that they all agreed by thinking it was Atom............ I can provide proof of this by taking a screenshot of it, but you know what, I'm not as I don't have to justify myself to you or anyone else on here!
I'm a grown woman with children and I don't appreciate being called a liar, or anything else for that matter.

Also just for your information, there are thousands of schools in N.Ireland, and thousands of classroom assistants. In the school I work in alone there are 23 assistants in total. There are also plenty of retired/past assistants (I don't know what PM's status is on that) all over N.Ireland also, just like all over England, Scotland and Wales and the rest of the world.

It must be a very sad life if people sit and question genuine posters on this forum or anywhere else for that matter. Me personally wouldn't give a damn as I have more important things to worry about in my life. And I am none of those, and am offended at the suggestion. I have been registered on this forum for about 2 years now, have met plenty of lovely friends on here, and have actually met up with some fellow Belfast and N.Ireland members from both sides of the divide in person for tea etc.
I have never come across such nastiness on this site until I came onto this thread, between people laughing and making fun of another member it's beggars belief that you have a cheek to accuse me of things when you are no better yourselves!

I'm saying nothing about Adam/Atom - I discovered last year that the Hokey Pokey didn't in fact exist.....

Surely PatientMummy is too similar to IrishRose for it to be the case in this one?

Like you'd have to be really daft to go that similar - and from the discussions I've seen before IrishRose isn't daft...

Plus IrishRose used 'atom' first. So in this case I'd say if there was any trolling it was more likely a troll pretending to be IrishRose backing herself. Giving everyone the ideal opportunity to jump on her...

That is something that happened on a sports forum I used and it caused real divisions between people who'd been happily chatting for years.

That said I do think the 'troll' or 'second account' accusation is thrown around far too easily on here.

Nothing would actually surprise me on this forum. Couldn't be bothered with it myself.

There is a clause in my contract that states i can be dismissed for gross misconduct if my honesty or integrity is ever called into question, either at work or outside work.

I don't have anything to do with children, i work for a bank.

I think it's pretty standard these days, along with monitoring what you post on social media websites.

At the end of the day, it's really a matter of respect though isn't it ? No matter how angry i was myself, or with my children, i would never act in the way this woman did.

Personally, i wouldn't have reported it to anyone, i would only have reported it if it involved me personally, and it had happened at this persons place of work. If she really is like this then it will soon be noticed by those who need to know.

Except that the Irish poster(s) have agreed that this is more normal where they come from.

Ireland is a country, not a village, not one family but a country with lots of people who are all different individual people. Do you seriously think all Irish people swear? Is it likely that you can say that about an entire nation? Well I can tell you they don't all swear. Maybe it is where they come from in Ireland, maybe it is there family but it is not all Irish people and it is not "An Irish thing."

By the way we don't all drink too much, have twelve kids and eat nothing but potatoes either.

Just to point out...the "Irish" posters are from Northern Ireland, which is part of the UK.

Hokey pokey does exist. Americans say pokey as a rule, and we say cokey.

I've seen amusing YouTube videos with one Brit and one American arguing over it, both thinking they were right - when they were!

Sorry for starting the atom/Adam debate but it was too random to ignore.
