I really want the lorac pro palette but I don't think you can get it in the uk. If I had that I don't think I would ever need to buy another eyeshadow0

One UU to report- pink grapefruit Raddox shower gel- WMBA if it was on a really good deal. I do have another one in my stash to use up. I love the sharp smell of grapefruit.
Hope everyone is doing well0 -

It looks lovely. I looked at buying it on Ebay but I am wary as there are a fair few on there so could be a lot of fakes.0 -
Thanks Clutterfree for the headsup about 'revolution' makeup. Some very interesting things on their site, especially the matte shadow palette. I much prefer matts to shimmers, though it does seem hard to track down a decent selection.
4 more UU's!
It might seem like all I do is shower, but I have been using up lots of odds and ends and minis. Got soaked on the way home from work so had a bath to warm up. I am out of bath milk so the last 1/2 inch of 2 bottles of unloved lotion went in the bath to make a sort of bath milk, I figure if Nivea can do it so can I. Brazillian rainforest body lotion, came in a gift set a few c'mases ago - too watery for my liking. WNBA. L'oreal anti-cellulite body lotion, given to me by a very glam spanish friend when she moved house (yes, we are still friends!) I am very skeptical about anti-cellulite anything, so didn't expect miracles. WNBA, have far more faith in body brushing. Inecto Coconut body butter, I think this was DD17's. She loves all things coconut, but its been neglected since she discovered Lush. I would not class it as a body butter at all, not moisturising enough for me. I am quite happy with Aldi roll ons. They are mildly scented and they don't stain my clothes. I don't sweat a lot, even when I'm at the gym so it suits me fine. Plus I find so many branded deos have such strong scents and if you wear perfume everyday, you have to be careful you find one that doesn't clash. Plus it might just be me, I like smelling perfume or aftershave on people, but really don't like smelling their overpowering deodorant. No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. I was in Boots at the weekend and couldn't believe it when I saw 2 very young girls (probably 8-10 years old) looking at make up and talking about there not being any pigment in an eyeshadow! I could tell that they were fans of reading beauty blogs! I remember when I used to buy eyeshadow based on what it just looked like in the pan - I didn't have a clue what pigment or a swatch was :rotfl:
You lost me at this bit ^^ i don't know what that means even now, if it looks pretty i buy it, i think i have magpie syndrome0 -
How do you get on with the true match foundation? I have been looking at this recently as have read lots of good reviews.
I LOVE L'OREAL TRUE MATCH ! I cannot express this enough! I've got the perfect shade for my skin (rose ivory). Sort of mattifies but never in a cakey way, just in a 'no need for powder' way. It's a beautiful formula feels like you aren't wearing foundation at all! The pump bottle is great I've found one pump per application enough for my face. Only thing I would say is make sure u pop the pump off when it's "run out" because there's always a bit left in the bottom. I will only buy another foundation when they discontinue this line (which I hope never happens!). Sorry to gush about it I just really love it
I've also UU'd a collection lasting perfection concealer, WBA but already have another one ready to open, this one has lasted on the dregs since mid February! I'm amazed.Frugal Student!!!0 -
Just caught up on the rest of the thread:
To ladies looking at urban decay palettes: although they are expensive I really think they are worth the investment! I have the original naked and naked basics. I used naked almost everyday for 2 years and only hit pan on one colour, nowhere near with the others so will last several more years, got naked basics at Christmas and used that a hell of a lot and think I might actually prefer it :P
To those discussing benefit they're real: I got this at christmas for the first time and personally really like it, although I will say that it's better for use just on top lashes, or very very carefully applied to bottom as it can clump bottom lashes like nobody's business.Frugal Student!!!0 -

Well no, I mean I remember being bought a 3-colour brown Rimmel eyeshadow palette when I was about 13 and I thought it was the height of amazingness and sophistication!
Mind you at home when I was 9/10 I loved nothing more than the clover green eyeshadow up to my eyebrows and red lips look :rotfl:nillionaire wrote: »I LOVE L'OREAL TRUE MATCH ! I could never get a perfect colour match from L'Oreal, but then I use the powder true match, Maybelline 220 is my best match for the winter but the L'Oreal is too dark for the winter months.
I don't use liquid foundation much but when I do I use No7 Beautifully Matte Foundation in Cool Ivory (though it took ages and ignoring that matching device thing to get a proper match!). I have an oily/very oily t-zone and it's one of the few that isn't too heavy, doesn't cake and doesn't slide off my face after a couple of hours.
I also use the fair BB cream sometimes. No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023
