A very stupid question to the elders on this thread:
UU for USE ups (as in ongoing project) ;) or USED UPS (as in FINISHED/ GONE ) ????? I may have misunderstood all along

VALM, we watched True Detective and I absolutely loved it. It was very dark and I really liked the "slow build" aspect of it, but I can understand why some people might see that as a negative. I was quite surprised how knock-kneed Matthew McConaughey made me, when he was a blonde Adonis type he did NOTHING for me but now? Yum ;) I've never watched any GoT, my best friend said I should but we have Virgin (no Sky dishes allowed here) so I'd either have to buy the box set or try and steal it off t'internet

I am having a very s-l-o-w month, as predicted. May have a very exciting UU of toothpaste in the next couple of days if I'm lucky :o

ETA Happygreen, UU is USED UP. Completely gone, packaging ready to be binned or recycled accordingly :)

Does anyone worry about the amount of layers of things you apply, to my hair I wash, condition, frizz ease, spray on leave in conditioner, argan oil, serum, styling products. To my skin in the morning, face wash, eye cream, Lancome Dreamtone, moisturiser, SPF, foundation. I skip primer when using a separate SPF as I just can't face the extra layer.

I won't put more than 4 layers on my skin at any time, normally with make-up I only use3 - SPF moisturiser, primer, powder, sometimes I use serum as well, but I always leave at least 15 minutes between serum/moisturiser and foundation so it's sunk in properly.

Hair wise I'm normally shampoo, conditioner and that's it, but if I'm styling it will be straightening spray, serum and hairspray.

I wouldn't worry about layers as long as your skin/hair isn't suffering.

    Thank you for clarifying!
The only UU I can come up with now are 2 bottles of shampoo (Aussie and Avon), which waited to be rinsed out forever and 1 tube of toothpaste - I really am good at making things last :D.
Re. GoT - you can rent the Dvds. I'm not sure if Lovefilm still does free trials as it is now a moneygrabbing Amazon company but I'm sure they have the discs.;)

I only buy the magazines for the freebie- so I guess it's a low guilt in then!

It is really considering that you get a good sized sample of a product at a fraction of the cost.

Right, my first ever PP list

Only doing 5 items as this is hard for me!

1/ Clinique take the day off for lashes and lips 30ml

2/ elemis pro collagen night cream 15ml

3/ Marc Jacobs dot: I've decanted some of this into an atomiser so it's this I plan to UU

    4/ fcuk body butter 50ml

5/ ted baker body scrub 50ml

I have a sample size of Dot but I'm not overly keen on it. To me the Marc Jacobs fragrances are all similar of the same theme IYKWIM. I much prefer L'Occitane Jasmine & Bergamot which smells simlar to Dot but is more spicy.

I can see why people don't like They're Real but I personally love it. I wipe a lot of the excess product off the wand and then apply quite lightly.

I also like the MUA naked dupe palettes although I do own the naked palettes also. Keep looking at the Lorac Pro palette and Smashbox full exposure one but I am not going to buy either of them - I have enough eyeshadow to last me a life time.

The Smashbox Full Exposure pallette is lovely as is the mascara that comes with it.

I'm not much of a fan of it myself, that's why I'm trying to force myself to UU Lol. I loved it when it came out and got it bought for me for my birthday (that year) by my friends but its one I've gone off quite quickly. One of my HG perfumes is daisy, though!

I've had a boots fail (well kind of, I came home with stuff, OH bought most of it though :rotfl:) .......will list it later once I've had my dinner and stuff

OK, so 2 INs so far this month: 2 x Dove Beauty Bar. (This is the one for the face, right? )

Sorry this might be a really 'duuuuuuhhh' question, but can you actually use this on the face? I had no idea! This one is my HG bath soap 10137124?wid=280&hei=343&op_sharpen=1
No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!

Do they sell a cream deo at Aldi? Might help my girls spending less if they do...

As far as I can remember Aldi just sell the standard sprays and roll ons. I am unfamiliar with cream deodorants, what is their selling point? less chemicals? more effective?

I've used the standard Dove beauty bars for my face and they're fine, in fact I find them much less drying than a standard foaming facial wash. Give it a try and see if you like it.

DH likes the Aldi roll ons, I haven't tried them yet but I think I will when I'm done with my current stash.

I see what you mean about Matthew McConaughey though he could do with gaining a little weight again now. I've really liked Woody Harrelson in this too - have never really liked him in anything apart from Cheers in the past.

I thought I saw GOT advertised on Sky Catch Up the other night. Might be worth a look.

OK have caught up with you ladies and have a few UUs to declare:-

Cutex Nail Polish Remover - the blue bottle - this was the last item on my PP list. Already repurchased. I don't stash these though. A bottle lasts me quite a while.

Have just repainted my nails and am wearing OPI You Don't Know Jacques and I think I may use my new Mariah Carey on my ring fingers.

Elemis Quiet Mind Bath Elixir. MrM used this. It was only a small bottle and I think I have one more of this size in my stash then he'll be back onto Radox because I bregrudge paying Elemis prices for bubble bath.

Smashbox "Stunning" lipgloss. I did really like this colour but won't replace as I think it was only released as a limited edition some years ago so any product that I get hold of now will be old. Besides I still have a few lipglosses to use.

    So new PP list time:-

    LE C&P
    TBS Seaweed Cleanser
    Marc Jacobs Honey shower gel
    Marc Jacobs Honey body lotion
    L'Occitane Shea butter hand cream

The two cleansers are full size but the last three items are smaller but I don't have anything else that's spluttering at the mo.
