    * TBS Peppermint foot scrub WMBA I feel like my tootsies don't get the love they deserve!

    * Baby Oil WBA I like using this as a moisturiser and on my face. I've been eyeing up one with candula oil in it, but I think I better wait a while before buying more stuff!
    No more goo hoarding!

I've really liked Woody Harrelson in this too - have never really liked him in anything apart from Cheers in the past.

What not even in the Hunger Games? He's great in that, he's exactly how I pictured his character to be. :)

I thought I saw GOT advertised on Sky Catch Up the other night. Might be worth a look.

Just be aware that if you like it you may well get addicted. :D Everyone I've introduced to the series is now a teeny bit obsessed with it...but it's definitely worth a look if fantasy/political intrigue is your thing.

No UUs here. No splutterers either but am still getting through the stash. Carry on.

However, we've probably all picked up conditioner to use as shampoo given that the bottles are often damn near identical, so it's good to know that should you accidentally pour some out before shampooing it can be used with no problems.

Glad it worked for you, I did this a couple of of weeks ago by accident, OMG my hair was so greasy and lank, couldn't wait till I got back home to wash it properly :)

I think they are less sticky than roll-ons and better for the environment than sprays? supposedly they also don't leave stains on clothes but as I'm washing those I'm not so sure about that ;)

Good to know, I think I must've used one then. Was a stick thingy, you push it up like a chapstick, was Adidas brand 'developed for athletes' that bit was a bit wishful thinking but it lived in my gym bag. I bought it on a whim from a pound shop wanting something faster drying for the gym than my usual roll on. I was pretty impressed with it and it didn't stain, but haven't see them since.

Hubby and I both switched to roll ons years ago to do our bit for the environment (I am not sure if sprays are still causing ozone problems?) All my teen girls do sport though and insist on using the 48/72 hr 'invisable' sprays. They seem to go through them 3X as fast as hubs and I go through our rolls ons so they don't seem to be as economical unless it's just them being excessive. Since they have to lug them too and from college/gym/fencing etc.etc. I'm curious if anyone has tried the new 'compressed' smaller versions - do they really last as long?

I managed a shopping trip today with no toiletries, right up until the last stop at a pound shop to pick up some gardening stuff. I spotted Maybelline babylips for £1! I bought 2. I do seem to have somewhat of an obsession with lip balm, but since it's SPF20 they will be useful for all the girls during the skiing trip I am supposed to be saving for!

1 UU, Aapri blackhead clearing scrub. Ok, but so far I prefer St Ives gentle apricot face scrub.
2 INs, Maybelline babylips 'protecting' and 'smoothing'.
    April Budget spent:£2, remaining:£3
No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!

Since I discovered Skin soSoft I've not used any official insect repellent. No idea what is in there that does the job but it works and we have loads of midges in Scotland....And it smells nice!

  • I've done it again! I get rid of a couple of things then feel the need to add to the stash!

Ok, so I haven't spent a lot and have only added to areas that are quite low in the first place so..

Boots essentials fragrance free moisturising cream 100ml 99p - this is to use as a night cream as I have been using Nivea Creme recently but this is just too greasy, and the day cream I've been using just isn't up to the job overnight. I do have a tiny night cream, but I'm saving that to use with the matching cleanser/toner! I'm going with bargain basement stuff in the meantime so that I can buy "sets" I love later when I've got rid of everything!!

Montagne Jeunesse Nut Oil Masque x2 66p each - Again I only have 1 in the stash and it's a Sanctuary one, and I'm saving that for when I start to use the Sanctuary skincare stuff. And these were a bargain!

Satin Care Olay Sensitive shave gel 200ml £1.73 (half price in superdrug) - I only have one 75ml can of shave gel and that's more than half gone, so think this is justified :) I was considering switching to using conditioner, but oh well!!

    Evening everyone

Hope everyone is well, just a small NBI to declare courtesy of supersavvyme.

Oral B 3d white luxe healthy shine toothpaste 15ml. Perfect for small trips away :p.

Going to go have a relaxing soak in the bath to chillax from a few busy and stressful days recently from work.

    Happy bubbles all
