Does anyone else get a major feeling of satusfaction when you put an empty in the recycling?
Me too, although i think my BF gets most satisfaction from telling me he's emptied something from the side of the bath.. he doesn't understand why you need 4 bubblebaths, 5 shampoos and 3 conditioners on the go at once.. poor thing.
:bdaycake: Catriona. I found my 29th more difficult than turning 30 so have a great day!
Have a great day Catriona, i too found my birthdays in my 20s far more stressful than the much anticipated big 30.

I am trying to cheer myself up after a date from hell earlier, he was coming on so strong and I tried letting him down gently, but he got creepy and god, I feel like I want to scrub myself from head to toe now! *eurgh* Mind you at least the date only lasted just over an hour!
I bought myself InStyle on the way home for the free eyelash curlers and also the mag had these sachets inside which I will call NBIs as they were free....
Garnier Ultimate Blends Shampoo 10ml
Garnier Ultimate Blends Conditioner 8ml
John Frieda Frizz Ease Smooth Start Shampoo 8ml
John Frieda Frizz Ease Smooth Start Conditioner 8ml
John Frieda Frizz Ease 6 Effects Serum 3ml
Also these updates from before....
Waitrose Pure Eye gel 25ml - GA/TA - Horrid consistency, too much came out with every pump for just one eye but if you tried to seperate it into two blobs it melted down your fingers, only a cheapie so GA.
Elemis Pro-Collagen Oxygenating Night Cream 15ml - UU
Sanctuary Body Wash 250ml - UUHappygreen wrote: »possibly....if there's no wind better be prepared!
What's a good insect repellent then? I need a spray, ideally an invisible aerosol type!
I know skin so soft is good but my Avon lady is worse than useless so no chance of getting any before I go away!No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

I've got 2 ins
2 huge bottles
1x coconut conditioner
1x shampoo and conditioner
2 for £2 though how could I resist
My nyx palette has come. It's very natural only 2 of the shadows are really pigmented. I like it but you couldn't wear it without a really good primer.
That date does not sound good if he got that pushy in an hour. Was it a first date?0 -

First proper date yes, we met and chatted at two match.com nights, he wasn't pushy like s*x etc, but more that he was overly demonstrative and kept making plans for more dates before our starter had even arrived! Also when I told him that - letting him down gently - I didn't sense any chemistry between us etc etc, he grabbed my hand in his and was rubbing his thumb along my hand, like you would with someone you were really close to, I feel SO creeped out by that, I couldn't get away fast enough, he obviously wasn't listening to what I was trying to say.
TBH from things he's said and things I've picked up on, I think he may have an autism spectrum disorder which explains some/most of it but having an explanation doesn't change the way it made me feel! It was all very uncomfortable, TBH I was only there to give him a proper chance, I was pretty certain this date would be our only one even beforehand, he seemed very attracted to me but I was barely bothered. I think if I felt any attraction I would have been having the 'chill out a bit' conversation not the 'bye bye then' conversation.
Luckily I have another date lined up with a guy I met at another meet-up, we're seeing each other in a fortnightNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

I bought the same mag. I keep free samples like that in my swimming bag. I don't count them as ins- maybe I should.
What is NBI? It's probably dead obvious but I can't work it out0 -

I like to accumulate them for trips away, holidays or whenever I want to up my OUTs for the month! :rotfl:
All the abbreviations should be on the first page for future reference but NBI is 'Non-Bought In' so presents, freebies etcNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

Interesting debate on deo! The solid sticks are the big seller over here. I tried an Aldi roll-on the other month on holiday. It took forever to dry and I left it behind in the hotel. The solid just glides on and no wet. Roll ons and sprays are available but the "pit sticks" (as my sons call them) are the big seller. http://images.iheartriteaid.com/ad_scans/2011/0213/dove.jpg
They last forever.
20- Prevens 15 count facial cleanser wipes. Used the last one on my shoes this morning. Too dry to be much use on your face but shined up my shoes and handbags great!0 -

UU no 7/ I tried to post his last night but it deleted my post so I gave up! It's one from my PP list
. (It was almost done anyway) Clinique take the day off for eyes and lips I used this for my evening cleanser for my whole face didn't really like it but didn't hate it either was quite oily feeling but didn't seem to do my face any harm!
I didn't buy this, I got it in Glamour mag ages ago when they done all the Clinique products (and yes I bought all the mags to get all the individual bits) and thought I was great, as at the time I couldn't afford Clinique! I wouldn't buy this but I do have at least one more in stash from a Clinique GWP
And Happy Birthday CatrionaNo more unnecessary toiletries Feb 2014 INS: 24 UU: 13. Mar 2014. INS: lost count, naughty step for me! UU: 80
