DD has gone on her first residential with school today, she is back Friday at normal school time, she was very excited this morning but DS is sulking over the whole thing, he is really going to miss her.

This is so sweet, made me go "aah". Hope your DD has had a lovely time.

In full??? How much did you buy? Totally not your fault though - was the shopping fairies. They made you buy it ;)

So true - hate those pesky shopping fairies. They're naughty when it comes to buying shoes too...

OK, I will start with the 'good' stuff before I consign myself to the naughy step...

UU #56: Garnier Minerals Invisicalm Roll On 50ml; WBA, cheap and stops me honking, what more can you ask?!

UU #57: Aquafresh Whitening Toothpaste 100ml pump; WBA, but my Poundland seems to have stopped stocking this :( No more stashed either.

UU #58: Tesco Freshmint Toothpaste 100ml; WBA, my boys like this as it's mild. Replaced with same from stash.

UU #59: Sainsburys Anti Dandruff Shampoo 250ml; WBA, this is DH's. Replaced with same from stash.

GA #5: MUA Primer; this must have been in my stash for a couple of years, it was fine but as my skin is so dry, I don't really need to use primer. Gave it to DD for her to try as she is 15 and a little bit oily skinned.

And that's when things started to go wrong...

IN #19: Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation in Cool Bone, 30ml; I am feeling so poo about my skin at the moment, I don't want to look awful in our holiday snaps and I know this covers anything and everything. I can't afford it, really, which makes the next one even more of an unnecessary purchase.

IN #20: Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer in Light, 7ml; This is by far and away the most expensive concealer I have ever bought at £21  it says it all when it makes MAC look cheap in comparison! I expect to look fifteen years younger the moment I apply it or I will demand a refund :p

These two purchases entitled me to a GWP. So..!

IN #21: Estee Lauder Advanced Time Zone Moisturiser 15ml
IN #22: Estee Lauder Advanced Time Zone Eye Cream 5ml
IN #23: Estee Lauder Take It Away Cleanser 30ml
IN #24: Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair 7ml
IN #25: Estee Lauder Lip Conditioner
IN #26: Estee Lauder Pure Colour Shimmer Lipstick in Candy
IN #27: Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Mascara 2.8ml

These all came in a makeup bag, and I was given a sample of their new fragrance too
IN #28: Estee Lauder Modern Muse EDP 1.5ml

To be fair, I spent £49.50 for everything listed above and the small skincare items will be excellent for our hols. And that was me finished shopping, right?! Naaah :rotfl:

IN #29: Rituals Shanti Shower Soothing Shower Oil 200ml; I already have a shower paste and a foaming shower gel in this scent so this was completely, utterly and indubitably unnecessary.

IN #30: Colgate Max White Toothpaste 100ml
IN #31: Colgate Advanced White Toothpaste 100ml; I bought these to try to see if they upset my tongue, which a lot of toothpaste does.
IN #32: Soft & Gentle Wild Rose Roll On 50ml; for hols
IN #33-36: Dove Original Beauty Bar, 100g; I didn't need these, I already have 4 stashed. I think I was past caring by this stage.

I make that 18 INS in one day. And to think, it was all going so (relatively) well :wall:

Uh oh! We all have days like that though - the key is not to let it spiral. Enjoy your shiny lovely new things!

    Catriona - belated birthday wishes!

Welcome to the many newbies :hello:

Kadison - your date sounded horrid, better luck for the next one. Awful luck about the car, these things always seen to come at once, don't they?

    Right, UUs:

    78. JF hair mask, WMBA

    79. Sanctuary body scrub 50ml - WBA but a few full size in status already

    80. BioOil 60ml - WMBA, grew to quite like this for a quick deep moisture fix

    81. Sanctuary foaming bath soak 75ml - WNB as I rarely bathe but nice enough, repurposed as shower gel

    82. TBS Rainforest volume conditioner 60ml - WNBA, others I prefer and this was no good at detangling. Others in stash though!

ETA: oh and I FINALLY had mychocoloate bath. It was a disappointment after such a long wait. So UU:

    83. Sephora choc bath fizz cube - WNB

    84. Sephora choc body wash mini - WMB, nice scent and lather

Sooo much satisfaction in placing empties in recycling :)

Thanks for all the birthday wishes :) Being 30 doesn't feel any different to being 29 - you just tick a different box on the paperwork! :D

Took myself off to a spa for the afternoon yesterday which was nice, and was glad to only get 3 toiletry related INs:

Lush Rock star soap (an old fave of mine)
    Lush Sweetie Pie
    Anna Sui Rock Me perfume

I was starting to get all melancholy about what I actually did in my 20's but looking at it, I covered a lot of the socially-accepted 'milestones' so I can't feel too down about it. I think my 30's are going to be a whole different kettle of fish.

Gutting about the car Kadison - they are money pits aren't they! I spent part of my birthday morning trying to jump start the hunk of junk that is my car as its' battery had died.

Hoping you have a wonderful wedding Sundaysgirl :)

Does anyone else get a major feeling of satusfaction when you put an empty in the recycling?

YES!!! Everyone thinks I'm weird at home but I get a feeling like my money has been well spent as I've used every last bit, even if I didn't actually like the product

Loads of spluttering products at the minute so I can see next week being full of UUs ! :T

Sundaysgirl - hope you have the best day ever and that the weather is as gorgeous as it it is where I am.

Kadison - to your date and your car expenses.

The kids break up from school today and DD comes home. We seem to be a week later for Easter holidays here than most places but ours seems right to me as I think Easter weekend should be in the middle not at the end.

No uu today but I have just had a lovely shower after an 8.5 mile bike ride and have cracked open a mini tube of Espa Lift & Firm moisturiser which is lovely, it smells amazing and it very refreshing.

I forgot that he was in that film. To be fair I wasn't very impressed by it and haven't bothered to watch the second one. Didn't read the books either.

You should really seriously give the second Hunger Games film a try - its about five times better than the first one ... I don't even know how its possible because trilogies rarely improve but this one has pulled it off.
