FizzWizz: the Modern Muse is lovely. I tried a sample of it and liked it enough to buy a bottle and then the body lotion fell into the bag and I did get a great gwp!
Well, I'm bad when it comes to gwp time. Why can't we just buy the damed kits!0 -
what can i say fizzwhizz, apart from confession is good for the soul.
yours will also be good for quite a few pampering sessions and sounds like good value.
a UU here, scholl deep moisturiser foot cream, i thought the tube was almost empty as i was struggling to get any out, so i cut it open and found loads - so feet legs knees arms hands and elbows have recieved an impromptu pampering session. i won this a while ago and would recommend it but have got loads of foot stuff left so if i do buy again it wont be for a whileSPC~12 ot 124

I do love a good GWP!!
The Double wear has great staying power, and IMHO the thing that you really shouldn't skimp on for cosmetics is foundation. If that's what suits you then that's what you need to buy. You can't risk taking full sizes on holiday so you needed the GWP products really.
Besides. It could have been loads worse & you could have accidentally bought lots more0 -
Oooo that's made me think! I'm going to Ayrshire in May, will I need insect repellent?
pack some Avon SOS and you'll be fine.
Enjoy it's a lovely part of Scotland and not too far from Glasgow
ETA - I see other people on here have recommended the Avon SOSLife is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
2 INS here - conditioner had the tiniest splutter this morning which had me running to Boots.
- Boots Coconut Conditioner
- LOreal Elvive Colour Conditioning Mask
Currently using Aussie conditioner and hair is still dry and dull, so decided I'd go for a cheap conditioner plus an intensive mask to see if that works out that I get nicer hair for less money overall. The Elvive is twice the size of the John Frieda one I used to get and that lasted me ages.
fizzwhizz, sounds like a great shopping trip! Modern Muse is gorgeous, I've got my fingers crossed someone will buy it for my birthday soon!New graduate trying to get debt-free.

Fizzwhizz!!! Resume the naughty step!! Although very nice GWP you have. I must admit I never skimp on foundation either- I think if you concel and foundation well the rest can be cheaper but your base gives the illusion of amazing skin... Hope it makes you feel wonderful
I still have no purchases for April... Feeling very good so farit's all going well... Although we are not even half way into month yet do I better calm down on the smug just yet lol!
Body scrub and few other things spluttering but no more UU just yet....
Keep it up ladies .. Enjoying reading the thread0 -

I feel let-off and chastised in equal measure
I'm happy enough with cheaper foundations for daytime as I have a sweaty job, and always shower and remove my face around 5pm but it'll be nice to have a luxury option for special occasions and those times when you just feel blah and in need of a pick-me-up. The last bottle of DW I had lasted me for months and months, and it truly is the best colour match I've ever found. In my (weak) defense I did actually need a concealer as my Collection one is spluttering but I definitely didn't need to spend over twenty quid on oneLooking forward to trying the skincare stuff, I've used other high end brands but never EL. Here's hoping I don't develop a taste for it _pale_

Well this is proving to be a rather expensive month! On top of the £210 insurance excess for the front tyre and buckled alloy, AND the new tyre on the other side which had a bulge in due to me kerbing it too much (oops and £66 more), it now turns out the tyres I've been driving on since I bought the car a year ago are winter tyres and not recommended for temperatures over about 7 degrees! (i.e. only worth having in the coldest of cold weather)
REALLY f***ed off at the garage not sorting that out before I bought the car, and not telling me but also the fact that I now have to fork out another £132 for two new tyres on the back since I will shortly be doing a tonne of miles between now and September so winter tyres will not do!
I know I also need new wipers for £35 but I'm really bl00dy hoping this is it now for a long long while! Hopefully I will be able to ebay the back winter tyres as they have 7mm left on them and are in very good nick so will hopefully get some money at least!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!:mad::mad:No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023
