  • On the topic of UD dupes, I have Naked 2 and the MUA equivalent and whilst they look the same shades the MUA one is pretty rubbish in comparison, stays on for very little time at all and very shimmery.

    2 UU today:
    - S&G Peaches and Clean. WBA, love the smell and its lasted me over 3 months.
    - Clarins Hydraquench (mini). Not a fan, am sure I've tried it before and loved it but this just made me really shiny.

Hello all, can I ask a question to all those who use Benefit's They're Real Mascara? How are you meant to apply it? I applied it like a normal mascara and it pretty much stuck my upper and lower lashes together, so much so that I daren't have closed

Did you "go vertical" - ie turn the brush up & separate the lashes using the prongs on the end of it? I found this out watching the Benefit lady on QVC.

Damn QVC for having a dedicated beauty channel on 658. Way too tempting.

I have now managed a whole week not buying toiletries, so another £1 in my stash cash :)
  • Lots of posts on the Urban Decay Naked palettes.

There is a new make up range on the block that has dupes for all 3 Naked palettes, they are called the Iconic palettes and they are only £4.

A blogger has done comparison swatches here for Naked 3 and Iconic 3 and I think they are pretty good dupes.

I already have all 3 Naked palettes :o and MUA 1 & 2 so won't be buying, but they do look pretty good...
Ooh never mind their naked dupes I like the look of the essential mattes palette and also their foundation looks super pale. I can never get foundation light enough. Might have to give it a go

UU the pomegranate shower gel- half a bottle of it in DS (7) bath gave him a bubble mountain! He was very happy in his bubble mountain having a candle lit bedtime story in the bath (he has joint hyper mobility syndrome so warm baths are very soothing and winds him down).

Ladies- consensus of opinion please. Free cosmetics on magazines can't count as buying surely? After all I'm only paying for the magazine not the cosmetics surely...

I did all of that nonsense, nothing made any difference, written off as a total waste of money, thankfully there aren't too many of those!

It depends if you would buy the magazine without the freebie....personally I only buy Heat! regularly and only buy mags with freebies FOR the freebies so I count that as buying, hth.
