:j:APs deodorant doesn't count right? Just like tights are not counted as buying clothes...
I don't include toothpaste or mouthwash but everything else is in my count up, i don't use a lot of deo-stuff so it gets put on the shelf and forgotten about, if like toothpaste you use it daily and don't have a lot then don't include it0 -
Ooh 3 UU all in the one go
1/ herbal essences (the purple one) shampoo. I don't generally use the same shampoo more than two days running or my hair goes limp so I always have a few on the go. I started using this ages ago and didn't like it so pushed it to the back of the cupboard for a while. In finishing it off, I've come to really like it makes my hair super shiny so WBA but not yet as have loads of shampoos in stash
2/ Trevor sorbie conditioner part of an Xmas gift set was ok but nothing special, WNBA
3/ lush Brightside bubble bar. Lovely and fresh smelling, love their bubble bars WBANo more unnecessary toiletries Feb 2014 INS: 24 UU: 13. Mar 2014. INS: lost count, naughty step for me! UU: 80 -
I'm wading through my stash as I type. It's a bit like christmas - so much I forgot I had!! Throwing away a couple of things as I go.
Anyway up to item 118 and loads to go.:embarasse
Think I will start a pot and £1 for every week I don't buy anything, £1 for hair & body UU plus £2 for cosmetics and skin care. Think I might ebay a few bits and then add the money to the pot. Then when it's time to replace stuff it'll be the premium brands I love only
Anyone got any advice for me? Didn't think this could be so much fun!!! Thank you so much for letting me join- without going on v sore from op & stuck at home and really needed cheering up.
Wonder if there's a similar thread for clothes & shoes? (And handbags and jewellry.....
Hi there, I am trying to do clothes as well, I have loads I don't wear so I am going to try and wear everything. If I don't want to wear it I have to get rid!
edit: not going to wear all at once!**Debt Free as of 15:55 on Friday 23rd March 2012**And I am staying that way

Deo's - well depends if you have half a year's worth waiting to be used:rotfl:
Just painted my nails Sally Hansen Loden Green, middle finger right hand look awful, I have already re-done it one, third time lucky? It is a nail that got damaged and never looks great:(
dippy31013, I hope that you feel less sore soon:)The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
Hello again ladies, been away from the internet for a bit due to deadline season and caught up and realised there was an April thread already :O how time flies!
This months pp is:
1) VO5 revive me daily shampoo
2) Alberto Balsam Raspberry conditioner
3) Palmers cocoa butter (the one with the pump bottle!)
4) 2 x Gosh eyeshadow trios (This is heavily ambitious and won't be used in a month, but definitely need to get rid)
5) Hollister Seasonal Edition Body spray (the Christmas one)
6) Body shop Madagascan vanilla body spray
7) Toni and guy leave in conditioner
8) Betty & Walter body lotion
9) Bb Thickening hair spray mini
10) L'oreal Matt & Messy sea salt spray
My other aims for this month are to apply a lip product every day and apply my gradual tanner every day as I've been incredibly lazy recently! (Sitting in pjs and glasses at home, no make up, no contacts in, no hair products or styling - This is what uni deadlines do to a girl!)Frugal Student!!!0 -
dippy3103 wrote:So is anyone "saving" for some special products? My wish list is
Urban decay naked pallett (I have an excellent dupe from Beauty Bays own brand)
Urban decay All nighter (handbag size of De slick I have is amazing)
Ellie Saab La Purfume Intense (it's amaaaazing)
Aromatherapy Associates inner strength (had a small one in advent calender - amazing)
Espa pink hair mud (miricle in a jar)
That's all about £150 so I need to rein in the spending & think of a savings plan. I do lots of online surveys so putting all those vouchers to it.
When I list my stash tomorrow you'll see I have a tonne to UU whilst I save. Then I will start only buying when I really need it.
Thanks for letting me join in- really enjoying reading all your posts, have some serious stash envies though!!
Its worth keeping an eye on Ebay for Aromatherapy Associates, I got a big bottle of my favourite one the lavender and peppermint for about £9.50 shipped!0 -
Thanks MM. Have been watching a few on ebay.
Anyway ipad needs charging as I flattened it!! Up to 305 & still going0 -
Welcome. If I were you I'd look through your make up and see what items you really don't like using before repurchasing and replacing with Bare Minerals.
Welcome back lily1972.
I don't like the feel of this either. It actually felt like my lips were burning. Not the look I was hoping for from this product.
i didnt actually mind the tingling sensation on my lips was more the stickiness0 -
RE JSA and going away. You can go on holiday in the UK but they will stop your money if you go abroad for as long as you are away for.Never say never0

Re: Bare Minerals, the product's fine but I really struggle with the packaging. I don't know if it's just me but I can never get mineral foundations out of the pots, meaning that it gets frustrating and I get bored and end up leaving it.http://www.giveandmakeup.com/
Also try searching for your local women's refuge as my local one takes everything except used cosmetics due to contamination.I'd say go wild, liberate yourself and chuck them away. I get to the point now that if something's sitting in the bathroom waiting to be moved/dusted every weekend there's no point in doing so. Go on, you know you want to.
I think what I might do is give some of the nicer bits to Give And Make Up and then throw out the rest. I feel a bit guilty that I'm not using it all but it's better than having it hanging around. And hopefully then it'll encourage me to use up the nail polishes I've got left and I won't see it as an excuse to buy the new Models Own Speckled Eggs ones..."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0
