    Morning all.

Missed yesterday due to trying to rescue a failed hair dye job. Its still not 100% right, but it's presentable enough for now.

Today I need to get on and get all the laundry done, household accounts sorted, get a couple of shopping lists sorted, do an hour or two of paid stuff (I need to make notes I can glue onto the front of my books saying "Book collection is WEDNESDAY 9th" as I usually collect them on a Thursday but I'll be busy getting DD sorted and to the airport for her long weekend in Ireland with ex & some of his family) including updating accounts and prepare a parcel for tomorrow, and hope I receive an email from @m@zon saying that DD's birthday presents have been dispatched since its her birthday on Saturday! One from the USA has been dispatched but won't be here until the 8th at the earliest, and the other is still marked as "dispatching now" despite me ordering it on Friday  Actually proper cleaning can happen Friday, with DD's help for now I'm going to just do dailies & urgent stuff. :o

Anyways I best get a wriggle on. Going for a HHC upstairs! Starting now!
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Lovely blue skies here, so I've got the last of the chalet blankets on the line - there were six, so it's a huge relief to get all of them washed prior to the season starting, as well as all the pillows, towels and bed linen. Tbh, I didn't think I'd be able to do it all, so it's quite an achievement for me. The three duvets that need to be done at the laundrette will be done on Thursday while Mrs Dog has her grooming session. We'll be all sparkley at the Honey Bear House.

I'm drowning in gibble again. I simply can't understand how I manage to let it all build up so frequently. Flinging has already started this morning and more will be out before the end of the day. I'm also going to savage the cupboard under the front steps because that's looking a right muddle.
    Better is good enough.

Finding vibes for your missing stuff, Valli.

Top layer dy$oned, Mrs Dog's bed shaken out (and she was pretty shaken up by the process, poor old thing), changed our bed, third load in the WM, and recycling out.

Missing Decog. Has anyone seen her?

Fairy Dust, when I found mice at the chalet, my environmental health officer friend said we had to find out where they were coming in and then put breakback traps (perpendicular) along the walls where they would be running, baited with peanut butter. And get rid of absolutely everything that could be a food source. We can't stop them getting in because the water and electrical connections all come up through the kitchen floor, but just disturbing the nest got rid of them, fortuantely. I spoke to another chalet owner and she said two sonic devices kept her place mouse-free, so that's what we've done. No sign of them since. (He also said we should put the cat over there, foodless, or 48 hours but OH was horrified by that idea! He thought Devil Cat would be lonely, the great sook.)

Excess amounts of gibble are going to the CS, council offices, post office and the boot of the car. *fling*

Half of towels folded and other half now in dryer.
    Hoovered bed and remade
Went to hoover landing and the broken filter suddenly decided it didn't want to play and was flying round inside the cylinder it was vibrating and making a right noise! Will get DH to have a look.
Had some lunch and a cup of tea as walking to cross soon with the pup, to meet dh and fetch pet foods. It's only about 1.5/2 miles but I'm feeling a bit unfit now, think all that flying this morning has kicked in.
    I should sleep well tonight.
