Unfortunately, insurers being what they are they might still reject a claim as they haven't been told you're no longer working even if it's your husband that claims, hence my earlier post.

So if they won't pay out you may as well stop paying;)

I've had a fling.. 2 boxes of stuff set out for chazzer, kitchen gibble. It has cleared a space on the windowsill and also made room in the cupboard. I also flung some stuff in the bin, after putting its home in the cs box it had nowhere to live so I don't need it, do I? Just need DD2's bf to come round as he is a star and will drop it all at chazzer for me and make the lazy boys help.

I now need homes for.. a treadle sewing machine, a huuuuuge rocking horse, a changing table and a double pushchair.

4 loads of washing done, 2 lots on the line, DW x3, new shelf put in the oven and my trays sorted (some were put in CS box... I don't really need 8 bun trays surely!?) new timer button poked into relevant hole.

Meters read and I was somewhat ashamed to have him in the house!! I MUST do something!!

Furry beast oz you have pricked my conscience with the curtains post. I WILL GET IT DONE before the kids go back to school after Easter.

2.5 days until I go away to sunny shores. I've got everything ready for me except for digging out my sandals. I've packed bags for the littlies for centrep@rcs. I've pleased with DS1 and 2 to give me their washing.

I'm working tomorrow so they will have to go their own laundry if they don't give it to me early tomorrow. I can get 3 loads done before work if I set timers.

FSC. DS3 had an incident at school. The head teacher rang me. He's ok. I want to throttle the little so and so who hurt and humiliated him

DH is on AB's for an infection. 2 days on he's no better so might have to have a minor procedure on Friday afternoon. He's not happy as he won't be able to swim at CP. He hasn't swum for 8 years because of his ear problem so I'm a bit bemused by it all!

I seem to have done sid all today....I did sweep up the back patio. wrestled the lawn mower out of the shed. spent 45 and quite a lot of spoons trying to get it started to no avail......found the electric microscopic hover mower and made a start after 10 minutes, it had 2 broken blades and no good to man nor beast.

ho hum, jaw surgery manipulation tomorrow and DS swimming....football on Thurs, and puppy clinic on Friday..very busy Skinty and not enough spoons to go around.....and I have had an email from my Mum's birth family in New Zealand who are coming to see me on Sunday 13th April.....some of you flyladies will remember the state I got myself into when one of my birth cousins from New Zealand came to visit me......the LR is as much a pit then as it is now, so I don't really want them in there. AAARRRGHHHH! The dining room although decorated is too small, and I don't want to be sitting round a table at close quarters with family I don't know all day and all night.

Oh well...I suppose I should try and settle down for the night
The cold never bothered me anyway

Today has been a tadpole munching day. :)

All 5 loads of laundry done, towels currently in the drier, house tided right through, accounts updated and a problem I had with finance reports not being correct solved :j Then I started paid stuff. So far those accounts are updated (didn't realise I hadn't entered some things), notes for books are ready to be stuck on, newsletter is ready once I have confirmed tomorrow that there are no problems and my parcel is waiting on me being able to access the website to get an form printed off but a number of people are reporting its down and I've not been able to access it for a good 90min.

I'm as prepared for tomorrow as I can be, well except for the notes sticking on the books which I'm going to do now while I wait for my phone to charge and the drier to finish while I watch Holby :D I might even do the ironing tonight while the pile is reasonably small ;)
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Oh Dear. I've not made a very good start on here.

Started a new part-time job yesterday and had to go in for induction(morning) and then back again later(late afternoon) to actually work.

Did manage to get kitchen 'tidied' and fridge cleaned out, and left dinner to DH - but that's as far as it went.

Had an MS to do today and then had my eyes tested. At least didn't have to spend on new glasses this time. Did a bit of shopping and after cooking dinner spent all evening on lap-top booking a holiday for September - that's about it.

I'm hanging my head in shame. All my good intentions blown out the first week :(

You all seem to have so well organised.

Hope you all have a good Wednesday

lynnejk - I often dont manage to keep up. I have 2 part time jobs as well as the kids to ferry about, a voluntary job, the paperwork for OHs business etc etc.

You are officially not allowed to feel bad about it! The idea is that you do as much as you can - even if its only waving a feather duster at the flat surfaces. Eventually by doing a little and often you start to see results. Good luck with the new job.

A long day of paid stuff for me today so I wont get much housework done - and tomorrow is paid stuff and voluntary job so that will be the same. I will do what I can ladies!
  • Morning all - and I thought I had overslept - having seen the clock pass 2, 3, 4 and possibly 5 ? I was surprised it was 6:55 when I got up!

LynneJK - "seem" is the operative word in that sentence about us and organised!!!! Some days are good, some not so good and some downright bad. You booked your holiday started a new job and sorted the fridge and tidied the kitchen - that is just brilliant. You have something to look forward to and now there will be time for "flying".

Going to get showered get dressed and get on (GSGDGO) sooner today. Out at vol job 2 this pm - wish me luck please it is my first shift.

This morning will complete basic tasks from Mon and Tues and do dusting throughout.

    Have a good day everyone.
