I'm still in bed :o. I've been dozing for the last couple of hours and could happily go back to sleep again. I was supposed to be gardening today but the rain is bouncing so I'm staying in!
We have no coffee so I'll drag myself out of bed and make a pot shortly. That'll wake me a little. Right. Get dressed, delivery coming between 11-12 !

Morning all. Going to try a quick post as my internet playing up.
Walk to meet DH yesterday wasn't to bad, olny took half hour but meant no more flying got done yesterday.

Had pans full of water everywhere last night after a main water pipe burst at the top of our road and they turned the water off. Luckily it was back on this morning so the kiddies could go to school.

Got up at 5 this morning and my GUAG has got up and gone! Took kids to school and pup was asking to go out so walked her down the field... Why did it not occur to me that all the water that was pouring down the road last night was now in the field! I was soaked to my knees! So we now have wet muddy, clothes and sofa and puppy. I've just watched last nights Holby:eek:So need to get a move on now.

So need to hoover and mop LR, swap sofa blankets and sort some washing before anything else. Then taking DD3 to collect her new glasses, she's really excited but not sure she will be so keen once we fetch them. We didn't realise her sight was so bad so being able to see properly is going to be strange for her.

Hope to catch up with thread properly soon.

Wednesday Wonders ~ Cruddy Study & Bathrooms
    15 minutes...
    [STRIKE]Declutter floors![/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Mop/vacuum/sweep floors[/STRIKE]
    30 minutes to spare...
    [STRIKE]Scrub tiles[/STRIKE] while running a defrag
[STRIKE]Clean the bath, basins, shower trays and loo's[/STRIKE]

    Got an hour...
Wash windows - no windows but extractor fan not worked for a while so cleaned out fan - we'll see if that helps
    Wash bath mats/shower curtains etc
Degrot the desk and dust and polish the monitor and pc case etc
    Extras
    • Empty and wash out bins
    • Wipe all the sofas/chairs in these rooms
    • Wipe paintwork in these rooms
    • Clear and wipe a shelf or two
Ha ha saw a brown stain under loo. Small drip from inlet pipe. Touched it - water poured out! Managed to tighten nut hope it's OK now. Unfortunately both bathrooms carpeted. Main bathroom carpet needs a clean so I'm going to try a home made carpet cleaner recipe I found.

Oh Dear. I've not made a very good start on here.

Started a new part-time job yesterday and had to go in for induction(morning) and then back again later(late afternoon) to actually work.

Did manage to get kitchen 'tidied' and fridge cleaned out, and left dinner to DH - but that's as far as it went.

Had an MS to do today and then had my eyes tested. At least didn't have to spend on new glasses this time. Did a bit of shopping and after cooking dinner spent all evening on lap-top booking a holiday for September - that's about it.

I'm hanging my head in shame. All my good intentions blown out the first week :(

You all seem to have so well organised.

Hope you all have a good Wednesday

Extractor fan no better. Both carpets cleaned - not convinced that much cleaner but smell fresher and look fluffier.

Congratulations!! Thats great news, and who knows what it might lead to.

So, 4 hours done at paid job no. 1, called into Lidl for a few bits of shopping, hung the washing out, walked the dog, had a quick tidy around and now its on with job no. 2. Cant believe its 3pm! I want to try and get 3 hours in so I had better get on with it.

Then I will have a scoot round the bathroom and study, both of which need attention.
