Since getting back from work I have:
    • Done nothing

Very productive day :rotfl: Just about to go and stand over DS2 while he does all his homework which he's had for a week and not touched. I despair of him sometimes. I also need to wrestle the rind off some belly pork strips for dinner, I hate that job.

LW I'm glad you're feeling a little more getupandgo-y today :) I have a pension frog which will need attention this week or next, do you mind if I pop the info in the post to your DH, mrs-mp?! I think he could carve a nice niche as a froggy troubleshooter! ;)

Fizzwhizz, my trouble is i get eaten up with worry over the most ridiculous things. He tells me not to worry and says if something is in the past you cant change it, so dont knot yourself up over it, if its in the future and you can do something about it do so but if you cant dont worry, its not your fault. But i just do. I normally deal with all the stuff but ive been almost making myself ill over this so once i admitted to him last week how it was making me feel he told me he would do something about it 3 days later its sorted! ive spent 3 years of wakeful nights and knotted insides when as he says i should just talk to him as we are a team.
he spends his days on the phone sorting, soothing and organising things so i dont think he would thank me for volunteering him out.

Oh dear. I haven't done a lot but there wasn't much needed doing to be honest.

Twinkly Tuesday ~ master bedroom and landing
    15 minutes...
    [STRIKE][STRIKE]Clear the floordrobe[/STRIKE][/STRIKE] did yesterday
    Clear the landing of gibble
    30 minutes to spare...
Vacuum the floors.. and the mattress before remaking the bed
    Got an hour...
    [STRIKE]Strip and wash the bedding[/STRIKE]

I can run the vacuum over the mattress and floors quickly later. I've also done one load of baby clothes which are currently on the line with the sheets.

    Hi all

Mrsm - I am a worrier too. I kind of think its part of my personality now, not something I can change. I have to be in control of everything or I panic.

Sooo, this aft I took doggie out and walked at a good brisk pace for 2 hours. Felt really chuffed with myself because we walked a route we have never done before and I didnt get lost (although I had to check the map a couple of times). I am so tired now and I am going to ache tomorrow.

Came home all happy and the kids were arguing. This has gone on for about 2 hrs now. They are really driving me mad at the moment. What do you do? I can never get to the bottom of who started it and I cant understand why they just cant stay in their own bedrooms and do their own thing. Sigh.

Anyway, bedroom dusted and hoovered, kitchen reasonably OK but I must wash the floor and fridge needs a good clean out but that might not happen today. Going to do another half hour then I might get in the bath - at least the kids cant annoy me in there.

    Hi there!

I'm just having pudding tonight, kazw I just CBA.

I didn't have enough money for parking a whole day, so I decided to finish at 1 - I'm owed plenty of time from the last few weeks! So I did a spot of shopping. We have sunscreen and shampoo, sunglasses all round and Primarni had kids slip on pumps at £2.50 a pair. They are perfect for round the pool for small feet that don't get on with flipflops. I guessed at sizes and they've been tried on and fit! They even like them! Amazing!

I've also restocked cereals, juices and beans.

Have you seen this squashd stuff? It's really concentrated squash! I've tried it and it's not brilliant (probably all chemicals) but how handy for flights? Its 66ml so can go in my hand luggage. I can buy water for the flight once we get through the checks, and the kids have the choice of juice or water then. You just put one squirt - apparently it does 20 x 250ml drinks.

I've been froggleshooting too today. ISAs and DBS. I also, after 7 weeks, have a NUC from Vodafone. Hallelujah!

    TV stand dusted
    Computer desk dusted
3 bags of clothes removed to charity shop and way back from Zumba so mse on petrol.
    Dailies done
    Family fed etc

We have discovered a neighbour has been feeding our cat. I wonder how many others are too.

I have an enormous worry too. It is about a letter about my mortgage protection policy. When we took out life insurance for DH (with same bank) man told me to keep paying mpp as I would have difficulties getting new one as had blood clot in lung. Letter says they assume I'm still working full time which I'm not. Scared to know whether to write back or keep paying.

Dancemum - ask on the insurance thread BUT read your policy - is there anything that tells you you must inform of changes - because if so, and you don't it may be that they would reject a claim on it anyway.

Valli I wouldn't claim anyway as it is for redundancy and illness. I'm not working. Hopefully I will be able to go back to work sometime. Problem I have is DS2 as I have no back up care for him if he was ill or school phoned due to his behaviour etc. writing that it seems silly that I am and have been for 11 years paying for something I can't use. Mortgage is in my name. DH does work. To put his name on mortgage we would have to go through the remortgaging process, with those costs to pay. We do need to move which is why we haven't done anything about it.

This is the first time in 14 years I have had a bank letter like this.
