Bathroom all clean. Hard floors upstairs hoovered, towels washed and on the line, DW just finished, mirrors cleaned - not bad on my record in recent weeks.
Lunch and paperwork now and then HHG as a reward.
ETA on a role now, eating tadpoles, I always amaze myself at what I achieve when I am avoiding doing something else. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
DH has been chewing on a big canefrog i couldnt cope with hes almost finished it off with a phonecall at lunchtime. all ive got to do is nip to the postbox and a huge 3 year weight will be lifted off me.

Well my HHI turned into a double!! All done now - apart from the stuff that I have just put out to dry on the airer!!
Had to spend a couple of moments in the garden as one of the squirrels decided to dig up our lawn!! Threw a gone off iceberg at it - but missed so chased it off twice! I know as soon as I'm not watching it will be back again! Whilst there picked up all twigs off the lawn in prep for DH coming home early to mow it. Might still be too wet. He's done the front lawn about three times and it is looking much better but the tree shades the back lawn and it needs more sun atm. Due to rain Thursday hey ho!
Now going to put away the ironing and dust upstairs before paying the bills!!!!! Then that might just be me for the day.
Have a good evening everyone.July 16 £95/£200

Been thinking about Neveah and wondering how she's doing, poor lamb.:(Auntie_Sceb wrote: »Are these spoons spoons as in 'Spoon Theory' or other types of spoons?166million wrote: »Sorry to hear about the mice! They are cute but a nuisance. You don't want your cat to get them, trust me, they don't clean up after themselves...
Thanks for returning my guag Kazw; I've managed a little catching-up today; bin day also, and we actually had to put a black bag out this time :D (we usually go 3 or 4 weeks between the black bag going out).
I dunno, I really am all over the place this week. I'll be glad to at least have Thursday out of the way. Meanwhile, I had an email reminding me my prescription pre-payment cert expires soon, so I've ordered a new one (I'd already earmarked the money) so that's a tadpole gone before it had chance to start growing legs.:o
OK onwards and upwards - I'm just flittering around doing oddments this week, as I can't settle to anything (nerves) but it is progress, honest.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Just in from work (5 hours as on phased return). Shattered! I over did it yesterday and used some of todays spoons. Finding this thread has filled me with excitement so I got carried away. Luckily OH saw this coming and is picking up fish and chips later. So I will be doing very basic today. Luckily the bedroom and landing saw the hoover when I fell on it the other day!
Dustykitten I was going to cook the lasagne for 45mins but when I checked on it at 20 mins it was dried up! I think I will go with the cook it a bit first - I think maybe because I'm using cheaper sheets than I have before.
Fairy Dust
I remember when I was a kid shutting the living room window and hearing a crunch. It was a field mouse - my Mum kept bird seed on the window sill. So I have a lot of sympathy.
Similar incident with my welly - frog - only it had been there some time. Traumatised for life. That's why you should keep your wellies upside down!

I'm thinking you've got loads of energy because your're solar powered and we rarely get any sun!0 -

Thank you very much for the parcel, mrs-mp - the sandals are absolutely perfect!
LW and Dusty, well done on the tadpole front :T
I have done a lot of decluttering today:
- went to SW and decluttered another 1.5 lb this week :j
- went to the tip and decluttered two large trugs full of garden waste
- collected my new specs - I can see properly now
- went to builder's merchant and bought roadstone and topsoil to fill the elephant grave :eek::eek:
The carpenter/OJM has made good progress, working outside in the glorious sunshine.
DH has been making cups of tea for us all
I am about to go out and do some more digging
The house is taking care of itself0 -
