I've just defrosted the freezer OS way! Not been able to open the top drawer for a while and been rading up on recipes to freeze. But as fast as the freezer was defrosting - so was the food - so got out a knife and spoon and started chipping. I know you're not meant to but I ewas running out of time.0

Evening everyone
Busy day today, I spent most of it at the MILs and then popped out to collect a bundle of 0-3 month old clothes ready for our arrival in September. Think I need a sit down now!

Auntie Sceb - you don't want to know how we do ours, health & safety would have a fit if they knew lol
Vali - hope you find the missing bits
Hello and Hi to all the new people and returners :]
I've had a lot of GUAG today, done lots of washing and drying, paid for ironing, made 2 messenger bags for children [boys] in lovelt=y pirate material, sorted out a mega hotspot at the top of the stairs, cleaned Homer the Hamsters cage, stripped and redone our bed and other bits too :]
Tomorrow - cleaning at paid job - 1st time so wish me luck, its a neighbour who's finding it all too much [her DH is poorly] also need to do some more washing and drying hereProjects made for craft fair - 40
1st fair on 13/4/14 :j0 -
Evening all. I didn't achieve any more flying once I started the paid stuff today. Made the most of the light evening and took the dogs for two walks, made tea, washed up and read the paper. Tomorrow will be super busy at the paid stuff again so I don't expect to do much if any flying, and I need to use tomorrow evening to make myself look human as I'll be on show later in the week. The dogs don't care what I look like, but I don't want to scare anyone else.
Night night xSpend less now, work less later.0 -

You'll be fineI got started in this line of work about a year ago, after I moved I struggled to find work that would fit in with school hours, having two boys in two different junior schools was a nightmare! A friend does domestic cleaning and when she was approached by her hairdresser on behalf of another client, she was too busy but kindly passed on my number. Since then I have built up a customer base of about 12, and all of my clients have come from word of mouth recommendations after that first bit of help.
Is the work exciting and mentally challenging? No. Have I formed good, fulfilling and downright lovely relationships with the majority of people I work for? Absoblimmin'lutely! Most of my clients are elderly and can't keep on top of their housework alone, and I know the work I do is as much about helping to keep their independence as it is scrubbing loos and dusting endless ornaments. I hope you find it as rewarding as I doxx

Hi Could I join in please,
currently on maternity leave but never been a 'tidy' personI have a 21month old who seems to empty out the toys and books several times daily
and a 11 week old, this makes it hard to leave them alone in a room together as ds1 loves to 'cuddle' dd which involves squashing her :rotfl:
Also in a bit of a muddle atm as decorating!

Good morning all. Hope everyone is ok this mornng.
While I have 5 minutes I will catch up on thread from where I posted yesterday morning.
Fizzwizz, thank you. Had a look and all but 1 comment look really good. Will see how the old hoover goes first but something to look at if it doesn't work.
Hello 166million, Mummymaria, henna123 and anyone i've missed.
Fairy Dust, good luck with the mice. I could lend you my kitty but she seems to like rats instead!
Kaz I think you had my GUAG too cos it seems to have returned this morning.
Took the pup to bed with us last night and she slept on the floor at the side of me and never moved until DH alarm went off at 4.30. Got up with DH and let dogs out and made us a coffee. He went to work and i've stripped our bed and put in washer. Put towels from yesterday in dryer. Emptied and folded both airers and loaded 1 with the other load from yesterday. Cleared the table and put all the pots in the kitchen to load DW (just didn't have the energy last night) a cup has been spilt (the cat) so the table needs a good clean. Made dd a cup of tea (and myself of course) and sat to drink it while having a catch up on her and trying to enter my gas and elec readings as I do on the 1st, but it wont let me.
Right, boys alarm has just gone off, better get some breakfasat ready.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Good morning, thanks Natty and Dusty for respective lists, and welcome Newbies
Had a lot of letter writing, form filling () and phone calling to do yesterday so only managed to do a little bit of flying - kitchen floor sweeping and mopping, together with cleaning work surfaces.
Today - appointment the other side of town for 10 am, lunch club 12.15-2.30 pm approx. (only up the road from here, so not too bad) and then back into town for hairdressers at 4.15 pm - so will do what I can, when I can!
Hope to post later.
