Bossymoo - that's funny I'm always getting the wrong end of the stick! I love window shopping (on the internet).
Are these spoons spoons as in 'Spoon Theory' or other types of spoons?
Banana loaf - success
Batch lasagnes not so much. Had to go to shop half way through as realised no milk for white sauce!
Then lasagne in 20 mins checked it nicely browned lasagne hard - so I just poured water over it I don't know why but my lasagnes keep going wrong lately - pasta not cooked maybe I just need to make them wetter ( I only had one tin tomatoes for 6 lasagnes!)0 -

OK so today I have done 5 hours of paid stuff, walked the dog, done 3 loads of washing, swept through the whole house generally tidying here and there and helped OH in the garden for a half an hour.
Its 7.25pm, the pots are still on the draining board and the kitchen is a bit of a mess. I really should do another hour of paid stuff, otherwise I will have to do it tomorrow.
So I think half an hour of paid stuff now, half an hour of sorting the kitchen, and thats it for today.0 -
hello!
Welcome noobies and returners and an especially warm welcome for the lady with the Flybump (killen) - having read your sig congratulations are in order, clearly.
Have made my tea, filled DW, put non dishwasherable stuff in sink of water and eaten tea. Have also made my lunch - Greek Salad without olives - as the pitted ones have run out I reverted to the jar of unpitted olives - well UGH - topped and bottomed (?) with a little black circular blanket of ughness. *fling*
I have lost
My pencil case (this is most distracting - being a stationery freak plus I need it for work)
My chequebook
My last payslip

Most of this got done yesterday.
DH mowed the lawn on Saturday- thank goodness. I had an email from Akela with attached photos of my back garden taken on Sunday ! From the air, it doesn't look too awful but it really needs a good hack back at everything. My strawberry patch is invisible under the weeds.

Hello
Last week was a bit of a disaster & didn't really fly much so was planning to get back on track this week.
Yesterday afternoon I found that I have field mice squatting in my food cupboard    & so my kitchen is now immaculate & so is my tins! I went out and bought a heap of those Kilner jars to put dried stuff in but I also chucked out things like my pasta, icing sugar, pearl barley, etc that had been opened but folded over as I'm terrified that mouse lice would get in as well as urine _pale_. I found some more poo this morning in the cupboard  so bought one of those humane traps so I'm hoping that it catches them. I'm not sure why I'm so terrified of them as I was a veterinary nurse for years & have held snakes, rats, lizards, gerbils, a tarantula etc that scare some people but the thought of mice in my house just sets me on edge!! As for the cat, well he is bl00dy useless, the scent of a cat is supposed to send them on to another house not entice them in!!
Has anyone else had this problem? I'm terrified of opening the cupboard in case they come running out at me lol.
Hopefully by the end of this week my house will be immaculate & mouse free?
Hugs to those that need them xx52 Week Challenge £15/£13780 -
