    Hello everyone.
    Haven't posted for a while.
    Updates 21/20 NSD.
Not sure of spends but still have £15-40 left from my original £79,but the cupboards need a bit of restocking.
Was trying to make £200 this month.Well,it hasn't happened. So far £70.Maybe they'll be a bidding war on e-=bay later.
Haven't bought any magazines so saved a bit there.Have been very tempted at times though.
Hope every body is keeping well.Looked at the "get fit" thread that was started. Wow,serious stuff on there.I'll stick to my trusty exercise bike.

I ended up not going to town today, which has meant I've hit my SFD target AND my decluttering target :j :j

Come and join us on the get fit thread :) The more the merrier. The more ideas we have, the better and it'd be nice to have another familiar name :)

  • Tucked up in my old room at my parents, so nice to eat without thinking about grocery budgets! Though should probably be thinking about waistline instead, mum always gets the nice food in when I stay!

Up to 12 SFDs but won't make my target of 15 this month, off to see a friend tomorrow so will spend on coffee/cake but have train delay vouchers to use for travel costs.

    Decluttering: 100+/100 :D
    Jobs applied for: 13
    Exercise: 19/20
    SFD: 15/15 :D
    Food: £125.09/£150
    Petrol: £62.59/£100
    Misc spends: £156.77/£160

    Morning all :D

Today is the day I'll be going over budget for the month :( I'm going out for lunch with work girls and although my lunch is going to cost around £6 I only have £4 left in my budget. I didn't want to say no though as it's for someone's birthday and I don't want to be the new girl who won't socialise ;) I'm still going to be happy if I keep my spending under £170 for the month as I won't have exceeded the budget too badly.

I might end up spending another £1 on milk later on, but as far as I can remember I don't need anything else. I'm making a bolognese for dinner that should do a fair few portions, I just need to stop Mr Mooo from grazing as he wanders past the pot :D

In other news, I'm selling my old freezer. We've had two in the house for ages and really with there only being two of us we just need one. The other one came in handy when we rented our spare room, but it's just using extra space and electricity. Yesterday I cleared out the cupboard it was in and now have space for the hoover/mop which makes room in the hall and the house just feels less cluttered. I'm going to be getting £50 for that this week as it's in great condition and is A rated for energy :j

I didn't get my SFD yesterday as at teatime our electric oven packed up so I had to order a new heating element for it, I can't do without it for long so had to order it yesterday.

DH and the kids are back at work/school today, I'm not working so will be having a big clean, walking the dog and running. Today will be a SFD I am sure.

  • Well good morning Raindrops...

I have just seen my payslip and can thankfully add a whopping great £1300 to my travel account. This makes me feel a little bit better.

I have been rather absent this month. I think a lot and when I think too much nothing else matters. There is no major thing that happened in my life this month to warrant my absence from the thread apart from a few niggling worries...

I am leaving my work place for a very long time. Is this wise? I still need to create some sort of pension pot if I intend to live on the road. Have I wasted my life in a job I hate? What on earth interests me enough to create a career from it..

Stuff like that. Heavy stuff as the clock ticks down - 155 days until I get the ferry! Still working like a dog to get enough money together with still some items left to buy including the actual rucksack I will take with me and the courier to take my carp back too home.

My exercising is going ok though. I did a great work out on Friday albeit was with family all day Saturday so coming back early Sunday morning ( 0200) didn't help my cause and I basically was rather lazy on Sunday. So need to hit it hard tonight and tomorrow as Wednesday will be work and then the flight home - yippee!!!

So - I need to read through the multitude of posts that I have missed.

I am truly sorry though for ignoring you all!

SFD 18 so should just make it to my target of £20.

Had a spendy day on Saturday after all. It was free parking, which was brilliant but whilst I was in the town I got a few bits and bobs that I needed.

Also got a new watch battery in a watch that hasn't worked for god knows how long. I would have changed it myself but it's impossible to get to the back of the watch due to a leather strap.

SFD Sunday and today and have no plans to spend any more before May.
