Hi everyone. I'm loving the title and theme of Mays Challenge Kat :D
I'm off to Lego land on Saturday, for the little fellas birthday. The room-a premier inn was booked and paid for in November and the tickets are all sorted so very pleased with that. Bless him, he's excited to be 6 like the rest of his friends. I told him be happy to be young :D

Today was a NSD. I was working from home and will be again tomorrow, although I've ordered the shopping from Asd4 due tomorrow.Nothing else to report. Have a good evening everyone :D

    Misc spends: £168.58/£160 :o

The final scores on the doors aren't as bad as I feared at the start of the month. I'm pleased with my food spends and plan to keep this up for May too. I may end up spending another £10 today as we're going to pop in to Costco for some teabags (we drink gallons of Yorkshire Tea and it works out ok buying from Costco in 1500 bag bags!) but I'll still be under budget.

I'm a little over budget on miscellaneous spends, but I know where to look to keep a track on that. I added to the total yesterday as I found a jumper reduced to £2.90 in Primark I couldn't resist and I needed to buy some deodorant as well.

I'm looking forward to reading the rules of the new challenge properly and really getting stuck in again. See you all there, and thanks again Kat for these challenges!

Feel I lost my way a little bit this month - having to pay for buses and taxis to do the simplest of things didn't help and then there was a bit of emotional eating and spending. Have rounded up some determination, found a little bit of focus and organisation lurking in the rubble. Unfortunately focus keeps wandering off (think he's watching cartoons) and organisation runs away and hides every time she sees the big pile of loose bits of paper. Claiming a SFD in advance as it seems I am expected to sit downstairs to wait for parcels - can start listing food cupboards and throw a few more things together for the freezer.
My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.

Hello and Goodbye to April - what a month. Can't wait to see everybody over on May's challenge - it's going to be a good month. I can smell it in the air. See you all in May (today!)...

Good morning raindrops. Thank you all for the good wishes. I am so excited about our future.
    :)

Back from Barcelona and all lobster-fied (sunburnt). Heading up to the north of Scotland later today which will be good fun too.
    :D

We did use OH's credit card but it was for pre-planned spends (hard rock cafe for our engagement meal) and we are paying it back with the holiday pot. It makes it all the sweeter.

So.... the scores on the boards as they say.

SFD: 15/15. (mainly cause we were on holiday so we had budgetted for it).
Food budget: £74/£75. (we have one whole pound left over.
exercise: 10/10. Going to be honest, I have only reached this goal because we were on holiday and walked for miles and miles and miles.
    :o

    Looking forward to May's challenge.
Hugs to all the raindrops. I'll see all you tributes later.

ARGH! What is wrong with me?! I am overspending every single month. Why?! More determination needed.

    Try again in May...

    Morning.
    Congratulations Stewby.
Hope every one is keeping well.
Quick update before I try and sort out a budget for May.
24/20 NSD. Sounds good but as I live alone I've no-one pestering me to buy things.
£70/£79 spent. This has been difficult and the cupboards are looking very sad! Mostly spent on fruit and veg.
Biggish T*sco delivery tomorrow,so hopefully no need to spend for a while after that.
Made an extra£105 this month, was hoping for £200.Must try harder there.
    Lost 2lb .
    Off to find May.
