(New Thread imminent!)....“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Congratulations Stewby.
How annoying Mooomin.
Today will be a SFD and tomorrow hopefully. I am unexpectedly having to work today - how annoying :rotfl:, I still need to fit in dog walking, washing, ironing, making tea, school run etc so that lot should keep me out of trouble.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Hi All,
I'm sorry I've been really flakey with this thread this month. I've been away a few times, and generally work and life has been busy so not had a proper chance to keep up on everybody's posts.
I have managed to sell 3 items on eBay and get 14 SFDs so far though. But next month I need to be a lot more serious about it again.
Hope everybody is well, and CONGRATULATIONS to Stewby!

Congrats stewby!!
Ran 4 miles last night for exercise #20, and today is SFD #13! So won't hit target as need to post something tomorrow for a friends birthday, but todays SFD was sneakily achieved by going shopping with my mum and letting her payAnd booked my gown for graduation and she's going to pay for it! So that's £40 back into the pot to use for something else!

Hi Raindrops
As mentioned earlier in the month I broke my glasses and have been relying on off the shelf reading glasses. This has meant that I have been able to read all the posts by enlarging the font on my iPad but find it very difficult to post. I have read every post this month :j
Luckily I have been off work since Easter and so have been able to cope as all I've been doing is 'growing' my house. I am in the middle of sorting out all the junk in the house and slowly turning it back from a 1 bedroom house into a 3 bedroom house. I have been ruthless but in the process I have lost track of my figures for April.
I know that I reached my LTW days but cannot be sure of SFD's although I think I should be close as lots of days just working in the house and didn't go anywhere to spend. Fuel and social budgets are definitely under budget but I have no idea on my grocery budget
The good news is I still had some money in the bank on payday, not a lot, but better than a negative amount :T
I will be back in May with a vengeance

Evening All,
Massive Congratulations Stewby!!!! MSE wedding on the cards?!
SFD for me today which means I have managed to hit target!! wahey - that's one done!! Spent the day at Chessington, paid for by mother, but I did produce a 2for1 voucher, so I spose I was free! I packed drinks and snacks for dd and me so didn't have to spend anything on food. DD was far too small for all but 2 rides but she had a great time just running about everywhere.
Am bursting to get a look at the new thread so am leaving this post immediately!!
