I had some of my shrubs delivered today, and hadn't checked them. After reading your post, I've also got 2 missing, scored off on delivery note. The ones I've got look in good condition though.

I buy potted plants from garden shops. The fruit trees I buy from high streets have their roots covered in compost and wrapped in plastic bags. Are these called 'bare root' deals as well?
Because, the plants I got from company had nothing around their roots and not single leaf on the branches or anything green anywhere. Is this normal? I have dipped them in water now. Has anyone got a similar deal and did the plants grow?
Thanks.0 -

I have a missing Coxes and called them - they said it would be coming from a different nursery, and would arrive in a few days but if it had not in 14 working days from the order to give them another ring.
A huge thank you to all who post the comps and deals that make life so much fun!0 -
