That is a good price. Just bought a whole load of fruit trees from Poundland for a £1 each. Although they are quite small and will take quite some time to grow. These are more expensive but have a grown to a good height. Tempted to buy some at this price.

Mine arrived today - they are much bigger than I expected & look really healthy - a couple are covered in leaf buds. I have to work tomorrow & can't plant them out till Wed pm. Got 2 soaking in a bucket & 2 in the bath (we have a separate shower!) Will they be OK like that till Wed p.m.?

I would let them have a rest from soaking after you get back from work then plant them as you planned on wed evening.

Trees and shrubs have just arrived and I'm happy.

The cherry is about 4 foot high (thought it was meant to be around 5 but still!) and has leaves growing.Nice thickness to the branches.

The shrubs are quite good in size.

However,my willow is a stick with two ickle twigs but it's got two tiny leaves on it lmao

  • My trees (good size ones) still appear to be dormant after a week.

By the way, how do we know that these are 'dwarf' stock as the website simply says 'bare root sale'?

B+M also have fruit trees in for £1.99 atm.

They are about waist height but still look ok.

They had sour cherry, apple, plum, peach and pear in the one I went to. Great if you missed out on these although these B+M ones should grow to about 3m, not dwarf size.
  • Got my last package and one of my trees has not arrived (hand crossed out) with a typed note on the bottom of the delivery note saying back order. Has anyone else had a tree out of stock (as opposed to the Japanese Quince which I am also missing from a previous package)?

Same here. They split mine into two lots, the first had an item crossed out. I rang them about it, it was out of stock. I got the impression that the system just ignored this ie order deemed complete. The person I spoke to was fine about sorting it, I had to order something else to the same value. The second parcel arrived yesterday, three tree's there, one crossed out. I'll ring them today and expect the same scenario - what do you want instead. It's ok, I don't think they are scamming, but it's annoying that their system doesn't recognise 'we need to do something about missing item's' .

Apple (Braeburn), Pear (Concord), Cherry (Stella) and Peach.

They are at least 5 feet tall.

    Cheers

I was hoping that they wouldn't just offer a refund as I wanted the 4 trees. That's good that they have offered other items instead. Will ring them on Tuesday then.
