Got pmi through work but considering doing this for the family.
Considering that gym membership will cost us over £40 each month otherwise.
For families what is the platinum points target?
Seems like individuals are 2000 - seems easy enough.
Is it 4000 for a family or 2000 per person.
Just my 3 year old will not be attending the gym which is how we will clock up points.
Anyone know if Virgin charge extra for the creche.
Cheers.
According to the PruHealth literature family platinum points target is 3000 not 4000, good result.
Also for those talking about QuidCo I had to keep on at them for about 3 months after the initial 120 days to get my claim through. They hae now at least sent it to Pru to confirm my membership etc at which point the money should come through. :T0 -

And another one! My 120 days ended in December and started chasing the money in February with Quidco. The claim has now been 'sent to merchant' with my details so the waiting game continues :rolleyes:DEBT FREE AND LOVING LIFE0 -

I am well aware that others have had no problems whatsoever with their Quidco cashback and if I may speak en masse, we do not want to colour anyone's opinions that are thinking of joining Pru through quidco. We are all huge fans of Quidco and I personally have been using it for well over a year with a 98% success rate.
I do however feel that we do need to continue to highlight the ongoing issues with pruhealth cashback via quidco.DEBT FREE AND LOVING LIFE0 -

Does anybody know how long it takes for Pru Health to reduce the gym price after the 3 months have been completed?
Pru Health have set up 2 direct debits from my account £22.08 my new premium for their insurance and £20.00 for the membership to JJB Fitness. Total = £44.08 or I could join JJB directly for £36/month.
My gym useage was calculated from Dec 24th-Mar 24th and has worked out on average around twice a week but Pru health have still charged me £20 for the month..
Im thinking of canceling with Pru Health and just joining JJB directly...
Is this the best choice of action?0 -
Pru takes 3 month fee in arrears + joining fee at the same time as the first gym fee. So you'll be paying £22.08 + £20 + one off joining fee £25 for the first month, then £44.08 for month 2 and 3, and from then on £22.08 provided you go more than twice a week.
If you join Pru, it'll cost £349.96 for the first year.
If you join JJB, the first year will cost £432.0 -
