Hi guys! Hopefully someone knows the answer to this... My premium is £15.11 per month as I got the 50% off Boots deal... Without the discount it would be more like £30. I've still got 6 months left and only need another 400 points to get platinum so no problem there... my question is, as platinum status gets you 100% discount of the current premium - will they take the boots discount into account when calculating my premium next year? ie, will the vitality discount be 100% of £15.11 - meaning I'll still have to pay £30ish minus £15.11 per month NEXT year, or will it be 100% of the pre-discount premium, meaning I'll pay almost nothing (i assume the premium goes up a bit each year anyway because of age...)
Thanks!!
PS Boots people: keep trying for your quidco as mine finally came through after 6 months :j0 -
It will be 100% of the premium before any discounts. So you will be paying a very small amount next year.0

I was looking into joining Virgin Active and got a quote from Pru which works out at £40 a month. I have been trying to find out how much it would cost for the gym on its own but for some reason Virgin don't have the membership prices on the internet site- what are they trying to hide! Anyway so I have emailed them about it and waiting on their answer. Obviously I'm going to go for which ever way works out cheaper. If like some people the pru option is cheapest I would still like to look around the gym. Could anyone who has done this before tell me what Virgin will be like with this if I tell them I will be getting it through pru- will they put any pressure on during the visiit to sign up directly through them or are they fine with this sort of thing? Thanks for any help.0

Have to say I was a member for 2 months with Virgin and there did not seem to be any pressure to continue. They asked why I canceled and said that was fine. I asked if I could join via the pru and the said it was a great idea.
I am not sure whther this is the case wth all Virgin Active areas.
I had to pay £58 per month for a Tier 2 club on a month by month basis. HTH
I think they don't tell you the price in the hope that they can persuade you to buy when you visit but I know that when I have previously looked I was not given any pressure to buy then and there.
Hope you enjoy whatever you do. I think IMO that it is a good IF you plan on going to the gym anyway and you are sure that you will go AT LEAST twice a weekJanuary Grocery 11/3740 -

hello all,
just a quick question i have recently signed up and was told that
cause i signed up on the 13th i should waituntil after the 16th to activate my gym membership as i will get the rest of the month free if i do and that means i will have 3 and a half months to get the 2wice a week
can anyone confirm this? anyone in a similar boat?
Also were do you go about gettting the 2000points to get to platnium is there a list of things to do? i read about the two fitmess test that seem to add a good bit of points towards it
Thanks for reading0
