How do I find the self help article on the pru website?DEBT FREE AND LOVING LIFE0
-
I just checked my vitality points and it shows I've got 26 visits for this quarter. I checked the vitality gym statement and it shows I have 22 eligible visits for this quarter.
Do they take a while to update or is Pruhealth not counting 4 of them for some reason?0 -

There may be other ways though:o0 -
It does take a while to update. But sometimes when they swipe, it doesn't go through. In that case you need to email them:o Good idea to keep a diary;)
They're all recorded on there, even the time the swipe machine was broke and they had to check the card manually.
What I mean is if you go to Members, then 'View your vitality gym statement' (Near the bottom of the page) it has "Your eligible visits in the last quarter: 22". I'm guessing that means this quarter as I went more than 22 times last quarter. But I've been more than 22 times this quarter as well.
The gym statement page doesn't make a lot of sense now I think about it.0 -
Is yours accurate?
I did a 'swipe and go' once and I just asked for a program and walked back out so the guy at the desk saw me walk in and out again. Next time I came my card wouldn't work. Maybe I'm being paranoid but I'm worried that Cannons report back to HQ about Swipe 'n Gos so they can be voided off.0 -

Does it really make it £0 to pay of is there some way that they get around it? Don't want to try and achieve the impossible.
Had a look at another fitness club today but for the amount of money tghey wanted the club was pants!!
Thank You
If you go to the gym twice a week, register online for the pru member zone, are a non-smoker and do 2 fitness assessments, you are pretty much there I think: 2000 points is the platinum threshold and those four things will get you up to 1840. Other things like flu vaccines, reading articles on their website etc all add up too.
reading what fffffffff said though about the 100% no claims discount, it appears they may be correct:
https://www.pruhealth.co.uk/medical_insurance/vitality/reduce_premiums.jhtml
That says you'd get a no claims bonus of up to 100% of this year's premiums off of next years premiums, which could be more if they suck you in with a discounted premium in year 1. I think I saw 30% or so being quoted as the first year discount. Even if it isn't £0, I can't see how it could be more than £10 a month if you had a 100% discount of last years premiums (assuming you made no claims).Cider Country Solar PV generator: 3.7kWp Enfinity system on unshaded SE (-36deg azimuth) & 45deg roof0 -

A friend's card didn't beep once (when swiped). No surprise when that visit didn't register, so she emailed and got that visit added manually by Pru:cool:
You haven't been to the gym more than 15 times/month? 16th visits onwards won't give you points or count towards the twice a week thing.0 -
No, I went 12 times in December though and I've had 10 points for each visit. I'll email them and see what they say.0

The system take a few days to update and you can always ring Pruhealth and tell them over the phone, they are pretty good and will update the system for you.
Cheers
