Thanks for that, especially as of 20minutes ago, I am now Platinum. Thats 2 months from joining Pru - yippee.

Now, goto to get cineworld season path for me and the missus and find out about mark warner deduction on last minute holidays.

Oh - and to keep using the fitbug and gym so I can get 10% of my points carried over to next year.

  • I am platinum and have to find 1229 points between now and the end of august to stay that way.

I thought it was going to be easy as I am due a smear (150) and can fit in 2 fitness assessments (300 each) BUT I have now found out I am pregnant and I cant have either of those things. How the hell am I going to manage it now??
  • Oh and how bloody crap is the site?? It NEVER works for more than a couple of minutes at a time. Now I am getting some APACHE bridge fault - what?? Its so rubbish.
  • How much is the fitbug?
    regards

The Fitbug's £15 to Pruhealth customers (go through the link on the Pruhealth site).

shelvis - have you thought of having a full health screening? If you're Platinum you'd get one for £25, and it'd get you 400 points...

  • OOh yes that's not a bad idea. Would they do them with me being pregnant I wonder?? I will investigate! Only downside is my nearest centre is Derby which is a pain (I live in Chesterfield) but it would be worth it in long run for my cinema card alone!!!

    How did you manage that?
I have got a quote and spoken to Pru Health who have given me loads of details about the plan but I am still not sure whether to join...

Didn't think it would be possible to get to Platinum in 2 months!?!

Scott has his partner on. You only need 3000 for two adults to get to platinum. So you can score 1500 each in two months. You could probably also do it as an individual with a chronic condition i.e. asthma diabetes, or if your over 40 too.

If your joining on a single basis, male, under 40 years old and with no chronic condition you are looking at around 5 months.
  • Hi PMI

I signed up myself and my partner to Pru and used cannons about 2 years ago, but cancelled MY policy after the first year. My OH still attends a currently has GOLD status. Can I re-enable my policy as a joint policy, I really should start going to the gym again?

    Thanks in advance.

  • I'm with Pruhealth via Boots Health Insurance...
When I joined up I tried to do the free Boot Health Screen (worth 200 points) and when I phoned up the relevant places to do it, they told me they weren't doing it "at the moment" ..this was in September

Roll on a few months, I'm approaching gold status (then I want to join VA gym) pop in to my nearest Boots that does the health screens and ask how I can book one....get told that they aren't doing them for a few months as they are changing and restructuring them...whatever that means...

So the one thing that made me choose Boots over normal Pruhealth, I can't do!!! I am very Peed off and frustrated....has anyone else with Boots had this problem?
