Anyone know how soon the ebay purchases on sporting goods takes to show on the ebay statement and then as points?

Less than 24h for me. Tracked and points awarded. I used "Buy it now" option if that makes any difference...

Also Scott, is any chance you can send me copy of your Vitality points spredsheet, please. My email : estereroze@googlemail.com
• Mmmh.

I'm trying to access to the Vitality Zone for my wife (Joint account), to have some point for her non-smoking declaration, her docs reading, etc.
But I cannot login with her credentials.

Any suggestion ?
TY, Zee.

This puzzled me at first with no clear instruction from Pru. You need to register your wife separately on the website. She should have her own membership number shown on the back of your card (?starting 120)

Thank you for the reply.
Unfortunately my wife membershipID is not working during the registration phase :(

Me too please Scott marcnicol@pch.uk.com.
• Spreedsheet sent - very basic but has worked for me to know where I am.

In ref to ebay, emailed the Pru team at Pruprotect_Team@pruprotect.co.uk but no response. Phoning them 0800 092 7333 and going to option 5 I think for anything else has resulted in nothing - they just fob me off.
I have had one ebay purchase shown and stated as points awarded but they are not and nothings listed in my points statement.
3 other things purchased under:
Sporting Goods > Swimming > Other Swimming & Sporting Goods > Cycling > Bike Parts > Saddles & Seatposts
and they are not even showing on my ebay statement.

Is there another number/option I should all or another email address to moan to.

Thanjs

Scott
• Hi,

Did you know that you can free gym membership for taking out life or critical illness cover as well - not just health cover?

As a lot of people have mortgages with life/critical illness cover to cover the mortgage, it is possible to get free gym membership just by swapping insurers. That way you are paying for a policy you do need and getting free gym membership..

• Anyone thinking about buying a Polar heart rate monitor in order to score vitality points may want to re think this at the moment.

The monitors are very good in my opinion, however on Polars website they are not set up to transfer the data to Pru yet which means we can't score vitality points yet (i wish i knew this before i bought one). The problem is being worked on and i am sure they will be able to backdate my points once the link is created.

According to someone on Polars own website forum, they will not be able to backdate the points, so you will only earn Vitality points for new workouts added to the Polar site after the official launch.

I was going to replace my current polar HRM which cannot upload data. I'm glad I held off now until I see it all working!

The policy on the life/CI insurance options and their version of vitality changed for new customers earlier this month. i.e. The discounts became slightly less generous. Also the discounts for having both life cover AND Pruhealth have disappeared. Luckily I got my Cineworld Card for £15 before the change came in!

Check the small print before cancelling your pruhealth and signing up for Pruprotect life cover as you may pay more over the longer term. Equally I believe previously you only got the full Vitality benefits if your life insurance premium was over £25 per month, I don't know if there is a similar minimum premium with the new scheme.
• I believe the changes are for new customers on Pruprotect, not existing. As soon as I get to Plat - as I will also get a cineworld season tickey - yippee
