  • Good morning All

Had a sort through my hoard of toiletries last night prior to my bath and brought out a new scrub and body lotion for a bit of pampering!
S&G Sugar Crush Body Scrub and S&G Smoothie Star Body Lotion, both are lovely, the body lotion has a really unusual scent, almost like flapjack, but left my skin very soft.

Hubby on nights again at the moment so plenty of time this week for pampering!!

I'm off to the hospital soon for another appointment with my Consultants, wish me luck!!

Haven't been posting much, trying to limit online time during the day and by evening roll around I am playing catch up with other things.

Feel in a bit of a funk lately. Still doing the basics of course but last couple of days gremlin in my head has been a right PITA. Anyway not much to report, feel as though I look as rough as a badgers @rse, skin having a mini breakout (!!!!!! when do "teenage" spots end?!) and feeling a bit sluggish and distracted. Shall plod on regardless and come out the other side one way or another. Also got a cold coming which isn't helping.

Sorry I haven't really caught up with all the posts so a general hug and high five all round xx

  • Thanks Maddiemaythe hospital was okay, bit painful being prodded and poked. I've got to go back in another 5 weeks and if it is still no better have another procedure (general and investigation/reopening) if that doesn't resolve things they want me to get a second opinion before having to have the more invasive and drastic surgery! It's been going on for 18 months now and I just want to feel normal again!!

Will keep on with the pampering and keep smiling through it all!!

    Good for you!

I think the pampering is an excellent way of feeling good about yourself. Keep it up.:)

    Good morning everyone,

I haven't had the best week on record but despite, or maybe because, of this I have made extra efforts to primp myself. Not in an OTT way, just making sure my clothes, skin and hair were looking nice and smiling through my rage!

I almost set fire to our evening meal last night and instead of nipping to the shop for junk food I thought about fitting into my dress for the wedding and had some quinoa and salad instead.

Hope everyone is OK and happy that we've reached Friday.

I am sooooo pleased it's Friday! OH is working this weekend, so I'm hoping to have a full on pamper weekend! Gym tonight, hopefully swimming and steam room tomorrow and gym again on Sunday. Hair mask, face mask, manicure, the works!
