Frugal Frump to Fab - The Journey Continues

Happy solstice everyone while you're on the longest day; we're on the shortest so that's reason enough for me to be cheerful. I have been wishing away the past few weeks and looking forward to the days getting longer again. Phew! I hate the cold, dark mornings.fedupandskint wrote: »As for me..life has turned another corner....I'm still keeping up my fab regime, maintaining my heathy weight, exercise and physical activity levels, wearing the clothes I have and wearing perfume, jewellery and make up every day.
I passed my uni course, started my new job, reduced my hours in my old job and all is working out much better than I expected. Plus I now have BF too, very happy with how things are going, nice and funny and steady.
Great to hear things are going so well for you and that you are having fun; lovely to hear all your news.NoahsPennilessMummy wrote: »Today I'm wearing a black maxi skirt and green vest with jewelled sandals and feeling good.
And you Noah's Mummy, lovely to hear you're progress and long may you stay in the happier space too.
I've gone off the rails a bit in terms of health and fitness, work has been crazy busy which leads to me grazing on totally rubbishy food and feeling very sluggish. Any excuse really to take on board loads of carbs and comfort food.
I am however still keeping up with the general skincare and grooming routines - so all is not lost. I can't see the work situation improving any time soon, so I do need to somehow get a grip and get some control back. Coming back to this thread is always encouraging; I'm hoping some of the positive vibes will rub off on me.I have been out in the garden and swept up a load of mess and leaves from last weeks storms, so I'll count that as a workout for today.
I'm still playing around my wardrobe and really enjoying being a bit more polished and creative with my outfits and accessories too.Mortgage
